I was worried these wouldn't stick to our textured walls but they do and they work beautifully!

These anchors took a little to figure out. But like that they are no drill and don’t make any marks. Easy to secure. Holds decent

I have a two plastic foldable playpens that I use both as play areas as well as a safety barrier between my living room and kitchen. I like the playpen, but it’s never been particularly sturdy, and my toddlers kept knocking it down and moving it around. I looked into a lot of options of how to best secure it in place, and bought several different products - and these were the best by far. I did use longer industrial strength zip ties in them instead of the ones provided, and they fit perfectly through the openings on the top of the adhesive, it was easy to adjust positioning of the zip tie, and have held perfectly for over a month of rough, purposefully destructive toddler play. I have a panel of the gate attached to wall for extra stability, and the adhesives and ties were easy to install, and I didn’t have to pull out my drill after the kids were asleep like I had been planning previously to be able to use metal furniture anti-tip hardware. I also have the safety gate and playpen attached to my laminate floor to keep it stable and in the shape I want it, and they’ve held-up great. When I needed to move the gate to make their space bigger, the adhesive came off easily after I soaked the area around it with a paper towel with water/soap/vinegar solution on it, and then scraped it off with a plastic scraper (the kind you use to apply spackle with). These have been a perfect solution to my wobbly safety gate/playpen issue. It stays securely in place with almost no wobble, even when my tank-like 1.5 year old purposefully tries to shake it to break it into pieces like she used to. The performance and value for the money is great. If you have one of the plastic foldable panel playpens and have issues with it not being sturdy enough, I highly recommend these adhesives and a pack of longer zip-ties. I’ll be purchasing several of the same set for when I move and need to re-set up our play area!
- Tamara2024-06-03Simple but does the job.
These are fairly easy to install and if you plan it you can hide them pretty well. We are lucky we dont have textured wall so these stuck very well and have given us peace of mind that our girls wont be able to pull over tall furniture.
- AS Reviews2024-05-22Strong and versatile, but pay attention to the texture of your walls
I first tested these adhesive furniture anchors by TAMDESG on an inconspicuous area in my closet. While I can't yet see if the adhesive would damage the walls after the adhesive has sat long-term, no amount of pulling and removing them took the paint off. My walls are unfortunately textured and I didn't think about the smoothness of the surfaces that these are advertised for in the listing, but I still think these have a good amount of use for folks with slightly textured walls. I do think this reduces their weight capacity however, so you may not want to use them for heavier furniture if this is the case for you and you want more peace of mind for your little ones. However strong my flabby woman arms are, they can pull these off a textured wall one-handed even after thoroughly cleaning, drying, and applying pressure to the anchor for 30-60 seconds like you're instructed to do with command hooks that I use around my apartment. Still, I was able to put a lot of force on these before they came off, particularly when the zipties were installed vertically through the holes when downward force was applied. If the object you're securing will see more side to side movement, by this logic you may consider installing the zipties horizontally and the anchors on the sides of the furniture instead. These are strong enough that I feel you can also forgo some of the other adhesive mounting products on the market with limited weight capacities for these. You get 12 pairs (24 individual anchors) at nearly $1/pair and I have way less furniture to secure than that, so I wanted to get a little creative. The nylon straps are just thick zipties, so you can swap them out for your favorite colored zipties so long as they are strong and thick enough for your uses. Some of my personal ideas were suspending things from the ceiling or under tables or cabinets like hanging planters, mounting other things to the wall in lieu of hooks ie. a children's stuffed animal holder, running an indoor clothesline, or maybe even outdoors with the right wall layout. And paired with a velcro or other such removable strap, you could use them to secure curtains to the side. That's only what I've come up with in the last week or two of having these. I think these are a great value and are handy to have not only for the safety and piece of mind of your child, but as strong little mounts for a variety of things around the house.
- Jessica2024-05-19So happy with these!!
I didn't know that there were no-drill furniture options! I am SO happy that I found these! We just moved into a new house with smooth walls. My daughter is 2 years old, so we don't anticipate using her changing table/dresser for too much longer. However, I wanted a way to secure it so it doesn't tip on her for the few more months we have it in her room. These are the PERFECT solution. They seem very strong and installation was a breeze. The no-drill feature is so nice. Anytime you have to patch and repair a wall it is a hassle. Patching and painting on smooth walls is even more of a nightmare. So happy we can avoid that thanks to these anchors!
- Katie Kearney2024-06-01Kinda works
Ok so as far as going against a determined toddler theses may not be the best option. They are super easy to install and do stick rather well but like I said if your toddler is determined enough it’s not going to hold as well. So I’d say they would be great for people with animals who might knock stuff over. You do get a number of them so you definitely have enough to anchor lots of things.
- Amazon Customer2024-06-09Work well for baby
These provide some reassurance that our baby won't have objects fall on him. However, I'm not sure how well they'll hold for our determined toddler. They aren't super esthetically pleasing but that doesn't bother us. Good price. Get the job done.
- HeddaGabler2024-05-23No muss, no fuss anchors
I didn't know these were a thing, but I am sure glad they are. They are so easy to install and seem pretty solid. My baby is about to start crawling so we got these just in the nick of time. I would say they aren't quite as strong as drilled version but still work for lighter furniture. Good value as well.
- Luis Rocky2024-05-18See through, yet eyesore
These are a nice alternative to drilling into ones walls. They stick to the furniture then to the wall and have a zip tie to connect the two. Though they're designed to be invisible, they to stick out a bit. The zip ties are large and are a bit of an eye sore. The sticking pieces are a bit larger than expected and come individual wrapping. These are somewhat nit picky, so I teetered back and forth between 3 and 4 stars -- so I'll so 3.5 and round up. Not sure if I'd go this route again, but not saying the product is bad -- just not for me.
