- Staci2024-06-20I 'm on the fence with the brush but it definitely massages the scalp!
Okay, truth be told, I'm still on the fence with the brush because I'm not certain it detangles, as well as a wide toothcomb. It's a hard plastic, but because of the ergonomic shape, it feels really good in my hand, and I feel like I have good control over the brush. It does a fabulous job stimulating/massaging the scalp when you brush your hair dry. I did notice a lot of hair came out, but I think that would be true of a brush as well. I didn't feel as if it yanked the hair, but the bristles are pretty stiff, so there is not a lot of give. I'm uncertain whether this is beneficial or detrimental to hair health, but I don't think it's ideal. I tried it on wet hair, but as I mentioned, a wide-tooth comb worked much better for me. I was disappointed that I could not find the brush-cleaning tool in the box. Nowhere did I see a statement indicating that it wasn't included. I'm still wondering why the company displayed a picture of it without clarifying that it wasn't part of the package. Despite this, the brush is a perfect size for travel and is easy to clean. The feel on your scalp definitely makes the brush desirable to use, but I find myself returning to my boar bristle brush for brushing dry hair and my wide-tooth comb for wet. I suppose I'll use this for scalp massage. If you want a wonderful sculpt massaging brush, this may be the one for you.

It just glides through my thick natural curly hair. I love love it.
- Mom of 2 boys2024-06-22Nice detangling brush
I have very long, straight hair that is medium thickness. This brush works very well for my hair. It is a nice shape and the bristles give a nice feel on my scalp when I brush. It seems to do just as well, if not better, than another wet brush I have. The front and back do come apart, but I guess that allows you to wash and leave it to dry. I think it would be better to have it sealed, but oh well. It is very lightweight plastic, but it seems like it will hold up over time. I looked up the brush cleaner the directions mention for maintenance, but it's more expensive than the brush itself (even on sale). I think I'll stick to just washing it. Overall, I am happy with the product and find myself reaching for this one more than my other brush now.
- MiMi M.2024-06-19Not bad, but not for me
Not a bad brush, but not necessarily for my hair type, I think. I have 4c coily hair and it doesn't detangle as well or as quickly as my Tangle Teezer. Feels decent in the hand, but the handle is way too small and the shape of it isn't very comfortable to hold. Also, it's very hard to clean coily hair out of it - I might need to get their brush cleaner to do so, but I shouldn't have to get a whole other product just to clean it.
- Sydni Micaela2024-06-28Love this cute detangling brush!
I loveee this detangling brush. Currently wearing my hair straight but it brushed out my own hair and my long clip in extensions without a fight. I can't wait to see how well it works with my naturally curly hair and my curly clip ins, but I assume it will probably be just as good as my denman brush if not better. I will update my review when I try it on curly hair. The handle makes it so much easier to hold in general compared to the tangle teezer brush I had a while back. The color is also *chef's kiss*, such a gorgeous mauve-y color! Definitely recommend this Kitsch Detangling Brush!
- Thinking In The Dark2024-06-14A really nice brush, except for maybe one thing
I got this detangling brush to replace a similar black one that I have that has gotten old. I wanted a new one in a neutral color. The terracotta color is really nice. It allows me to see how much hair the brush has gathered, so it’s easy to remove. The back half of the brush has a matte type of texture, while the front (the part that has the bristles) is glossy and smooth, and has the logo. The bristles are varying heights and are firm, but flexible. The shape of this brush fits in the hand well. I like to grab it at the widest part and have the handle rest against my wrist for stability. I like to use this brush when I am applying leave-in conditioner on wet hair. I also think it works well to detangle when working from the bottom up. It’s easy on the scalp too. The one thing I don’t like about this brush is that it is not sealed on the seam around the outside edge where the front and back meet. I’d like to rinse this brush off to clean it, and I can imagine that water could get inside, along with dirt and germs, and who knows what could grow in there. I think I will find a way to seal the seam. I really do like this brush. It seems nicer than my old one, with the exception of that seam. If it weren’t for that, it would be perfect.
- Amazon Customer2024-06-22Absolutely my favorite!!
I've wanted a detangling brush for a while but they seemed sort of flimsy the ones that were popular at the time. But I really liked the shape of this one and have a few items from this brand so I thought I should try it. I'm so not disappointed....except for maybe not getting one sooner! This one has 3 different lengths of bristles and it's so smooth! I have fine curly hair that tends to get knotty close to the ends. It's made a tremendous difference in my detangling time with minimal effort. I think I'm ready to move it to the shower. I absolutely recommend this brush. However, if you have really thick hair, I don't know if the bristles will help much as they are pretty flexible but fine/medium hair should be easy for this brush. But it might still be ok for thick hair. It's pretty sturdy made.
- jk2024-06-27Stiff, lightweight plastic
I was hoping for a little more from this brush given that it's Kitsch. I love their pillowcases! But this brush feels like cheap plastic; has no flex and doesn't work to detangle wet hair any better than the WET brush. It's actually worse in my opinion. Still better off with a wide tooth comb.
- Cecille2024-06-15Firm bristles, ergonomic design
Kitsch has great hair products so I was excited to try this detangling brush. I have fine, thin, straight, and long hair that tends to tangle easily so I use a brush pretty often. I like the design of this brush, it took a few seconds for me to get used to the grip, but after using it a couple of times, I feel like it is slightly more ergonomic compared to other brushes - its a little more gentle on your wrist since you can get a good grip with just your palm. On the other hand, the bristles are a little bit firmer than I prefer. Since my hair is very fine, I do prefer bristles that are more flexible to work through tangles. However, if I am gentle with my hair while using this brush, it does detangle pretty well. Overall, it's not bad but I do prefer the softer/flexible bristles on my Tangle Teezer.
