My granddaughter has had 3 watches now that all died because they were not waterproof. She is so proud to have a watch she wears one to school every day and the rain damaged those three. This watch is waterproof and should withstand a rain storm. I dunked it in a glass of water and saw no leaks. The analog dial is large enough to read easily. I also like that it is a Japanese quartz movement that is keeping perfect time. It does feel light, which is a plus on a tiny 7 year old's wrist. Of course it is not a five star $1000 watch but it is a 5 star $15 watch. Good value.

The color pattern is great (black and blue) and the blue really pops. My son loved that part. The face of the watch is clear and relatively easy to read. The watch is *quite* light and flimsy feeling in the hand, so I suspect it will not last long, but it's probably appropriate for a price range of $15ish dollars.

Nice size, good quality. Got this for my soon to be 12 year old who's been asking for a regular watch to tell the time. It's nice, not too wild or fancy for simple time-telling, we like it

Comes in a fun gift box for kids - mine gasped when he opened it to find his first watch. He loved the green face, too. When I helped him put it on, I noticed the weight - it is very light and cheap feeling. But that's okay because it's a kids watch. It's a rubber/plastic band, as well.

My six-year-old loves his new watch. He is so proud to show anyone who will listen, that he knows how to tell time now! Great little watch for a kid, and a good choice to teach a kid how to tell time on an analog watch. Looks nice, too!

I got this watch for my 8 year old son. It works well, the numbers are clear and it is easy to tell time. He is pretty small for his age, with a tiny wrist and we have a hard time finding something that he likes (not too babyish) that fits him. It is a drop big on him on the smallest hole but still ok, so this works for him.

As expected will use to teach youngsters how to tell time on an analog clock/watch not just a digital device.
