Not as impressed with this gadget as I thought I would be. It's difficult for me to hold due to my arthritic hands. To me, it isn't worth the price. But, it might be just right for someone else.
- Amazon Customer2024-07-02An absolute must-have!
Use it regularly to relieve sore muscles. It was strange to use at first, but now I find there is no substitute for it for hard to reach back and neck pain. Plus, you don't have to bother someone else for a massage. Love it!

This tool comes in two parts and you will have to assemble it. Assembly is very easy and intuitive. One just has to put the end with a tab into the other part and push it in until there is a "click" sound. For a moment, I thought it would be easy to dismantle as well but that is not the case. If it was, then it would be easier to travel with. I used to have a similar massage tool called theracane and I loved it. Since I have misplaced that, I thought I would give this tool a try because it looked similar. Well, I have mixed feelings about this tool. It looked like it would be a great massager for the neck and the shoulder area, but I haven't really found a way to use it effectively so that it helps my very stiff neck and the aching shoulders. Also it's on the heavier side, so I find it a little difficult to maneuver with my weak, arthritic hands. I like the fact that they have included a booklet with a lot of pictures to show different ways to use the tool.
- HBird2024-07-02Maybe not for everyone, but SO useful for certain knots/spasms
This is the second hook/came of this style that I've ordered. I've using the other for years, but I wanted a second one to have at hole as well as the studio. These may not be for everyone, but for deep tissue knots/spasms, they can be incredibly helpful for pressure point activation. For me, short of a massage from someone else with strong hands and good technique, it's sometimes the only thing that helps to locate and activate trouble spots on my back and shoulders. For example, I don't know if it's age or stress, but at some point, the same pullups I've done for over a decade now are going to unpredictably tweak my trap/lat/serratus in a way that just will not go away without pressure activation. It can maybe be a little awkward sometimes finding the right point that fits the spot I need it to, since the hook is a one size fits all and isn't customized to my frame, but I'll take occasionally awkward to no relief at all. And when it works, it works pretty darn well This particular one has a lot more nubs a hooks than the previous style I've been using. Even with the instruction sheet demonstrating intended application, I don't find everything necessarily useful, and find myself using the same "features" the vast majority of the time. But, I also find having the extra bits certainly doesn't hurt or get in the way, and I hope that I can uncover new useful applications down the road.
- Huntmav2024-06-20Works fine, but definitely overpriced
It's definitely a solid massaging tool! But it's definitely not worth $42 when there are the EXACT SAME thing available in other sources for half the price. The bow in the stock photo is also very unnecessary, it doesn't come with that.

This is my second pressure point massager. I first got the Tiger Tail ReGreen Tiger Massage Hook 24.5" - https://a.co/d/6COmr9X which I have really used often, but this is better, albeit uglier. This product seems to have very study and heavy plastic, the tiger tail is wood and prettier but feels a little flimsier. Another plus, as you will notice in the photo, it has extra little nodes which allows for massaging additional body parts like the soles of your feet and calves. Supposedly you can massage your scalp but it feels a little too hard for that. I also love the detailed usage manual, something so many health products lack. The average health product just shows you how to assemble and turn on (if applicable) but says little about different ways to use it. This at the time of writing this review is a few dollars cheaper than the tiger tail. The only negative thing I can say about it is.... Its ugly. I wish they would use a nicer color or offer it in different colors. But overall, I use this more often than my electric massager for getting out those occasional pin point knots.
- Lisa2024-06-26It’s works once you get used to how to use it
This massager work pretty well. It’s not as big as some other similar massagers but I like that it’s a bit smaller. It’s easier to handle! Easy to assemble - just click together and it’s ready to use. A wee bit pricey in my opinion.
- Y. Chiu2024-06-18Well Made, Easy To Use Trigger Point Massage Tool
I have a complete massage gun set. It works well. However, there are times when I don't necessarily want to take it out and a simple manual trigger point massage tool will do the job. This particular manual massage tool is well made and has a configuration for just about every need. It is the upgraded version with additional massage points. While it comes in two pieces, it snaps firmly together to form a very rigid massage tool. It is so strong that there is no flex at the joint. A detailed, illustrated set of instructions for use is included. It is easy to handle and the large format allows for very convenient reach to all areas without having to contort myself. I find is very useful when needing a quick muscle tension release.

In my photo you see left a similar bar I own. It is exactly the same size minus a few of the protruding knobs, is ever so slightly more flexible and does not come apart into two pieces. I find that all the extra knobs on this bar serve no purpose to me, maybe they are useful for something such as legs or something but I manly use this for self back and shoulder massage. One of the reasons I got this was to be able to break it down smaller since it comes in two pieces that snap together. It is beefier more rigid and doesn't flex when applying pressure hardly at all, however it is a a lot more weighty and for the life of me trying multiple times I could not get the tab to go in enough to take it back apart. That was the whole reason I wanted it. I felt like I might injure myself trying and I am a strong hands on DIY male homeowner with background in construction and mechanic work, a weekend warrior if you will. Instead of a locking plastic hard to push clip, one of those metal round tip push pins like most folding tables have would have been a much better option in my opinion so I will be donating this since it is of no use to me.
- Worth_a_review?2024-06-06Massage Stick (Cane) - 2 piece requires easy assembly
This is similar to the Body Back Buddy Classic USA but comes in 2 pieces to make it easier to travel Attach are photos to compare the two brands with Ranorose overlay on top of the brand. There are differences in type of knobs, locations, and lengths. It works if you like smaller knobs and ability to break item into 2 pieces. Otherwise, I think it need fatter/triangular knobs to be beneficial for users with neck, shoulder, scapula pain. Weight wise it's about the same, but Ranorose is slightly heavier. It comes with instructions on some exercises and how to use it. It's is missing a triangular knob which is helpful for hooking/going deeper in scapula/back for me. The knob for the neck has 2 handles which helps massage occipital a bit better, but uses a blunt knob. It has more smaller blunt knob, which I don't use much, I find the fatter round/triangular better. The smaller loop is good reaching back of occipital well w/o it protruding like a larger loop. This design depends on area/type of knobs used more often. Else, adjustment to this tool is required. .
