- Genthar2024-04-19Sturdy, adjustable table
It's a good table. Some minor assembly required, but all of the screws, tools, and instructions are there, and it only took a few minutes. A little tall for use in a la-z-boy recliner, but it's sturdy and rolls decently on carpet. It can be a little tippy on carpet if you're not careful, but that's an issue with the carpet, not the table. Top is smooth and seems well sealed. Pneumatic height adjustment works fine. Only thing I could wish for would be a little basket hanging off the side or the main post for convenience.
- Amazon Customer2014-07-08Floor clearance is easily low enough for most beds
For reference - item received had dark "walnut" top, H-shaped base. This was not a problem for me. Bought this table to use as a monitor mount. Regardless of what the specs say, this table is supporting a 34" monitor on a VESA arm, combined weight over 25 lbs. A level on the table surface shows it perfectly level even with this much weight. All construction is solid and dependable, wheels roll well and lock tight. Table is well balanced and requires considerable uneven weight to unbalance. Floor clearance is easily low enough for most beds, height range is impressive, table is easily adjusted. Table does not tilt, which in my opinion is a good thing, I wanted stability above all. Considering I'm using this table in a more demanding manner than the average user or what the manufacturer even recommends, safe to say if it's holding up for me, it will satisfy you as well. Unless, apparently, you really need the C-shaped base. So uh, don't buy this hoping for that. This table works great with a bed or carted around, but it's not a desk you can pull up and sit at.

This is the same as we had in the hospital. It worked so well thst we decided to buy one for the hospital bed at home. Just so convenient.
- Christian2021-08-14Good Table hospital bed
Overall the assembly was simple, but the instruction booklet was not as clear as it was designed for multiple models of bedside tables. Also be very careful when unwrapping the rising shaft, it will spring forward very hard. The warning sticker could have given a little more description of that. Overall once assembled looks good enough, feels very sturdy has locking wheels. For the price and quality I would buy again.
- Jedi2013-07-29Bad packaging; adjusting lever stuck so can't adjust height
One of the rods was sticking out of the packaging box; the box was also torn in places. The worst thing was the adjustment lever was stuck, and won't move at all. We installed it twice following all directions and even two people couldn't budge the lever - so the table height can't be adjusted. We are returning it. (It seemed sturdy and the table finish - walnut - was fine = only it didn't do what it was supposed to do).
- Botanical SA2018-08-29Good table for a consumer
I bought this Medline because most of their products for a consumer are of good quality. I did enhance their table though. As I was putting it together (warning from Medline: the raise/lower column is spring loaded so don't remove the shrink wrap until it's almost completely screwed down) the release lever rattled quite a bit. So I cut some Cont-Tact self adhesive cork. Removed only 1/2 the protective paper from one side of my cut piece and wiggled it under the gap and then stuck that section down. Removed the other half of the procteted paper and stuck down the other half. The lever now strikes the cork instead of the bottom of the table top (much quieter). Still some rattle, but at a different place. It's was the wiggle room at the screw that holds the lever in place. So I removed the screw/bolt and cut two small squares. Used a hole punch to punch a hole in the center of each square for the screw to fit back through. Put the small square cork on the inside of the housing and put back the screw/bolt. No noise. I added a small basket to the column for incidentals. I'm thinking I'll add a narrow strip of about 3 to 4 inches of the cork to the top on both sides? To catch the sweating coming off a cold glass, heat from hot coffee, prevent silverware slipping? It a sturdy table. Raises and lowers easily. Wheels lock. It has a lip around the top to prevent things from rolling off easily. Bottom of the wheels to the top of the U base is 4 inches. It rolls easily. I am very pleased with the product.

- Regina2024-04-12Great Table - Rattling Fixed
So I got this table to help recuperate from my knee surgery While I’m spending so much time in bed. I’ve read reviews about it making a metal clanking noise. Mine also did. I asked my son to figure out what was causing it so we could fix it and he did! It was a very low tech solution! The little adjuster rod inside the mechanism was clinging against the metal so I took four small pieces of duct tape and pressed them into the hole. It will still go up and down but it does not make noise! This solution won’t last forever but it’ll last long enough for me!
- Gail2018-09-25Great if you need to work from bed while recovering from surgery
I purchased this to use after having major abdominal surgery. I have an adjustable bed, and wanted to be able to work from bed during my recovery to minimize the time I would have to take off of work. I ordered it in advance of my surgery and it was assembled and ready before I came home from the hospital. There was no problem assembling it, and the table rises and lowers with out any issues. The table served the purpose well. I was able to sit upright in bed and use my laptop on this. The only way to improve this product would be to make it longer so that you have more desk space over the bed. I like to use a mouse with my laptop and I am right handed. I found if I was laying on the left side of the bed that there wasn't much room to use my mouse. But if I was laying on the right side of my bed it was more usable with my laptop mouse. But you can use a laptop without a mouse so it was a small issue, even when I was on the left side of my bed. The table allowed me to work during the early stages of my recovery and I'm very thankful for that!
