I didnāt expect the fan to be as good as it is. It does have a Direct Current motor, so starting and stopping has vibration, but I see no way to change that because of the fan size. Iām a happy customer.

Perfect garage fan! The remote is nice with the timer feature. Overall the fan is quiet and its circulates a decent amount of air.

Fan was working great for the last 2 months but now itās making this terrible vibrating/ humming noise on low fan speeds.
- DEP2024-04-04Motor makes noise at low setting; bottom cover did not fit
Fan install was straightforward, but bottom cover plate would not screw onto threaded bolt coming out of bottom of fan motor. It appears the threads on the cover are messed up. According to the manual, this should be a left-hand thread- but it will not thread on. Another issue so far is there is a noise the motor makes at low speeds, like a grinding noise. You cannot hear this noise at speed 3 or higher, at least not at this time. I would return the unit but is has been more than 45 days since it was delivered to us. ***UPDATE*** Shortly after I posted my review, I was contacted by the company asking about my issues. (The noise had stopped completely by then). Company shipped me a replacement bottom cover, It worked great and everything works as it should. Fan moves a lot of air. Upgraded from 2 to 5 stars for customer service!
- claire logan2024-05-20This fan was mis wired when I received it. However the seller quickly sent new equipment.
Update: the seller quickly sent new remote equipment to resolve the issues I had with this fan. I now give it 5 stars. I installed this fan three times trying to figure out what was wrong with it. When wired per the instructions which say gray wire to gray wire, red wire to red wire and pink wire to pink wire it trips the breaker when you turn it on. In trying to diagnose the problem I discovered if you disconnected the ground wire the fan would work and not trip the breaker but the housing and blades were energized with 120 volts. After taking it down twice and looking for chaffed or pinched wires and finding none, I was just about to uninstall it when I noticed the red wire from the remote receiver was labeled with a letter that coincided with the letter on the pink wire to the motor, and the pink wire from the remote receiver was labeled with a letter that coincided with the red wire from the motor (see two photos Iāve included with the review). The fan works well once that issue was corrected but that is completely unacceptable for it to be mis-manufactured that way and I will be contacting the manufacturer to request a new remote receiver in case this one was damaged and may malfunction in the future.

Great fan, moves air. Wish it had a light kit.
- Dickyr852024-06-01Pay attention when connecting wiring
Overall the fan is great. It's attractive, sturdy, moves a lot of air, and it's quiet. There seems to be an ongoing issue with the wiring. There are 3 wires coming from the fan and six wires from the remote control receiver. From the fan you have pink, red, and grey, from the receiver you have black, white, green, pink, red and grey. Black, white, green is straightforward, pink red, and grey, not so much. The directions tell you to connect red to red, pink to pink and grey to grey, but if you look at the labels on the wires this is incorrect. On remote control module the Pink is U, Red is W, Grey is V. From the fan motor Pink is W, Red is U and Grey is V. You have a 50/50 shot here. Either the pink and red wires are the correct color, but mislabeled on one end or the other, or the wires are the wrong color and they are labeled correctly. I wired U to U, V to V, and W to W and it was correct. I suggest turning on the power for a second or two before you put the blades on to see if the breaker trips. If it doesn't you should be in good shape. If it does, then you likely need to swap the pink and red wires. It's much easier to make these changes before you get the blades on. Once you have confirmed the wiring turn the power back off to finish assembly. There really is no excuse for the wiring issue, obviously this company has some quality contol issues

We have a large space, open concept of about 4 rooms all with varying ceiling heights. This keeps it all cool!
