These days you can’t have enough sanding discs on hand, particularly when you are restoring a vintage VW Bus. Well, this nice mix grit set of 5” sanding discs are working perfectly for me. I have paired it with my name brand hook and loop 5” sander and they’ve been working very well for sanding various metal parts. They are strong, don’t tear easily, and seem to hold out with enough sanding power compared to some more expensive sanding discs that I’ve used in the past. I did experience a bit of loose grits, but this was no big deal as I’ve been able to sand what I want. These are perfect for outdoor use when working on a car or anything else. The included grits are 40, 60, 80, 120, 180, 240, and 320 so you’ll have a wide variety of coarseness to fit most projects. While I have used higher quality sanding disks, at this price point I consider these to be good considering the very reasonable price.
- Musgrove2024-06-19Great set of multi grit discs with 8 holes
I go through these things like sandpaper. So this is a great value for the money. They're durable, well made, cut well, and will last a while.
- Red Ryder2024-06-04very consumable consumables. Not bad sanding discs but don't last long
The title says most of what needs to be said about these sanding discs. They not bad sanding grit, they hook and loop is good without too much slippage. The backing is thin and they get misshapen just in the stack and are difficult to get to attach at first, so quick changes aren't super easy. The biggest weakness is that in addition to the backing being thin the grit is pretty thin too. So the pads don't last as long as some others. Given the price point for these they're still a pretty good deal, but personally I prefer not having to change pads as often, and they do tend to fill up a trash can. If you're doing somewhat smaller projects and budget is a concern these are not a bad option, but I personally prefer thicker material.

My husband tested these out and felt they work just as well as ones you find at the big box stores but the cheaper brands. For average homeowner use their just fine. But for remodeling professionals you may want something a little.more durable. No problems were noted installing them.

Good selection of discs and grits. Hold up ok. Last as long as I expected. Great to have a good selection of these around for those home projects.

The hook & loop of the sandpaper stayed firmly on the sanding pad and all the dust collection holes of the pad and discs lined up with no problems. I took a 2-foot long piece of rough cut lumber and used 40-60-120-240 and 320 grit sandpaper and sanded the top section of the wood which is approximately 4” wide completely smooth. These discs held up pretty good and they are still in pretty decent condition. I like to clean the sandpaper up with one of those abrasive sandpaper cleaners (sandpaper eraser) and the discs all look clean except the 40 grit disc which had lost a 1/2" long by 1/4" wide piece of grit off the edge but the hook & loop backing pad of the sandpaper was still intact and some of the grit had worn down around a couple of the holes. Other than that one disc, the rest of the discs still looked pretty good with not much wear. These sanding discs hold up well and are a very good value for the price.
- ducvw20042024-05-30Work very well on my orbital sander
Sanding discs are a bit difficult to review. They either work or they don't, and poor quality discs stand out like a sore thumb. These are a good quality product. Not the best, but for the cost, a good value for any DIYer or home craftsman. The holes are in the right place for my orbital sander, and the hook and loop does it like it should. Durability on wood seems to be typical and the grit is consistent and seems to hold up well.
- MickM2024-06-09Equally as good as others I've used
These discs seem equally as effective and durable as others I have tried, no better, no worse. The Benefit of this set is you get a lot of them and a variety of grits. As a bulk pack they make sense. Adhesion is also on par with others I've used.

- Shannon Lowder2024-05-29Good budget-level sanding pads
This is a set of good budget-level pads. They last as long as the ones you'd find at discount tool stores. These are good enough for my woodworking. I can get through most projects on a single pad. I don't use a lot of really rough wood, but the low grits do well stripping off old paint! the finer pads make the wood very smooth!
