These things are great. If you have a bunch of pipe to sweat this is a huge time saver. I can't tell you how much I love this thing. and at just 9 bucks it's a steal. you will make that back in saved time almost immediately. The tool itself is well made and seems like it should last quite a while. One time while using it the outer ring popped off and the wire mesh fell out. I just put it back together and popped the ring back in and it worked fine. I like that the rear is reinforced. I had an early version of this tool and the plastic just ripped out where the drive shank meets the plastic body. this one seems better reinforced. a great deal at just 10 bucks.

1/2-Inch Copper Pipe Cleaner for Power Drill, Model InerLok050 -- This copper pipe cleaner for power drill is so much easier than the handheld manual cleaner or emery cloth. Wish I had this 30 years ago when I was doing apartment maintenance. I don’t need it that often now. I took to heart another reviewer’s complaint about the retainer nut coming off easily. So, I took the tool apart and put some heavy-duty thread locker on the post and put it back together. Glad I did it because the retainer nut was not difficult at all to remove even though there was a lock washer. I have not had another tool like this for quality comparison. However, I do see several other almost identical tools by photo, available online for quite a bit lower cost. Would have been 5 stars if I had not had to fix the nut problem and there were not less expensive units available.

These offer a fast and easy way to prep copper pipe for sweating. Eventually these will wear out like any brush does, but I will get more because I do like how these work.

If you need to clean the ends of a lot of pipe quickly, then this does the trick. Takes half a second to have a joint ready for flux and you can do ten connections in a row for a more rapid assembly process. Don't know how long it will last, but hopefully for a while and I'll buy another.

This works pretty good, cleaning up the outside of the pipe fast. It has come loose on me a couple times when using, so I wish the retention mechanism was better, but it sure is fast.
