These aren't full size (i.e. 4 1/2") wire wheels. If you read the description, it states it is FOR a 4 1/2" grinder, but the diameter is actually 3" and 4". So it's true that they work fine in a 4 1/2" grinder, but be aware of the size. I don't have an issue with that, because I like to have different sizes on hand, because sometimes it's better if you have a smaller (or larger) size, depending on what you're working on. These are as good as any others I've bought. Good for removing paint, debris or rust from irregular shaped metal.
