No issues cutting swing chain links. Effortless!

I've been using cutoff wheels on the drill for way too long and when, for what felt like the 100th time, a dead battery stopped my progress, I ordered these. They arrived yesterday and I've already used them several times on some projects around the homestead. I can't believe I waited so long. These take a bit of muscle, but are still way easier than finding the drill and putting on a cutoff wheel. I haven't pushed them super super hard, but cut through two hog panels, a padlock, cut a bent link off of a chain, and lopped the end off of a too-long bolt that's been sticking out of a workbench in my garage for 3 years. They're straightforward to use and comfortable, a little stiff in the movement at first, but did their job without complaint and cut the same the last time as the first. They've earned their place in my truck.

This set of bolt cutters is well made, cuts well and has comfortable grips! It's adjustable and cuts everything I've needed to cut easily. I haven't tried it on re-bar, but I've used it on everything from wire shelving to a padlock that was rusted shut! Worked like a charm! Very satisfied with the quality of this bolt cutter!

Works well but it is a bit stiff and not as smooth as an expensive brand. The cutter showed no signs of damage when cutting a chain. So far so good.

These are currently roughly $13. For that, you'd typically expect some not so great quality. That's not it with these. They have a very solid feel and seem to cut very well. They probably won't match a very high end pair, but I needed a pair for once in a while use. These are MUCH better than an older pair I had. They look great and operate a little stiff, but that typically breaks in after a while. I'm super impressed!

I didn't have a specific use for these bolt cutters when I ordered them, but in the past I have been frustrated when I needed a pair and didn't have any. So this is a nice addition to my toolbox. I tested them on an old chain that I didn't need to save. I was able to easily cut off a few links. The real test will be trying to cut through a padlock. I'll update this review later if I run into any issues with these bolt cutters, but so far they seem like a great deal at the current price considering how nice the quality is.

These feel very heavy duty and durable. I have tried them out on a couple of things and they work perfectly. The handle has a good grip and the leverage is perfect. This is a great buy for the price.

I used this bolt cutter to cut a few average sized screws, and it seemed to perform just fine. It didn't take too much effort, and I don't see any damage on the blades.

Solid and sturdy medium-sized bolt cutter. This snips quite easily through things like luggage locks and chain-link fencing. It snaps smaller padlocks with ease too. Larger ones are a bit tougher, and it’s not made for specially hardened padlocks. It is a bit stiff brand new when first opened, but begins to loosen some with use. The price point is quite good for a tool of this quality.

So far, so good. I haven't tried them on anything especially thick yet, but they worked perfect on some steel fencing.
