    Sharp but safe!

Works great and you can even lock the blade for extra safety if you want which is a nice plus. You'll get through plastic with ease and I haven't noticed any dulling effects going between tape, cardboard, and plastic. I open up a fair few boxes and so far there isn't a single problem. I'm impressed and much happier with these than the standard blades.

    Safety cutter

I see these as more of a box opener rather than box cutter. You have to put a rather dangerous amount of force into slicing through a box (compared to a proper razer blade cutter) but it will handle single-layer corrugated cardboard mostly fine if you're cautious about where you "aim" it on the way out. I would not want to mess with dual-layer or really thick cardboard with one of these. The ceramic blade is fairly safe if you happen to touch or rub against it. It's not like a razer blade which will happily slice into your hand just for bumping it a little, but I'm sure if you treat it with a lack of caution you'll find a way to cut yourself anyway, so it's not a 100% safe solution. It's far better than trying to use your keys to break through tape or cut boxes, or use something a lot more dangerous. It's a happy middle ground that will make your online order opening experience smoother. The box cutters are pretty small and made of plastic, so it definitely feels like a 'disposable' product rather than a quality, lasting one. It does have a built-in locking mechanism, which is nice. For the price, I think it's perfectly serviceable. If anything, I would rather have the blades be replaceable and come with a better-quality housing than getting a whole 3-pack with the whole thing being a bit cheap and flimsy.

Perfect To Keep By The Front Door

This is a perfect tool for folks who get a lot of packages delivered. The magnet allows me to stick it on my metal front door so it's always there to open those Amazon boxes the moment I get them inside! They aren't heavy duty, and I don't expect them to be much use for breaking down boxes, but they slice through the tape well enough, and since they live right on the front door, I'll always know where to grab one when I need it.

Safer than Metal; Good for Delicate Items

This set of 3 mini box cutters work fine. They are made for opening box, but not cutting up boxes. They are safer than metal blade box cutters. They seem like they might cut skin if one puts a lot of pressure on it, but normal pinching pressure is very safe. I need put some pressure with a cutter on my finger nail and it left very small line/cut. They cut the outer layer of cardboard boxes and easily cut the tape holding the box together. These seem like a great idea for opening boxes that have something delicate or easily damaged by a knife (metal box cutter).

Not heavy duty, but works great for smaller jobs

I keep losing my box cutters, and I don’t always need something super heavy duty, so I thought I would try these mini ones out. They are quite small, but are still easy to grip. I used them to open several different packages, and for the most part they worked great. The blade itself is short and isn’t terribly sharp, but I think the point of ceramic blades is that they don’t chip or get dull as quickly as metal blades? These blades worked great cutting through tape and thin cardboard. I did try using them to cut up a thick cardboard box, and it did cut it but it required a lot of effort to cut through. I would still recommend a bigger blade if you’re cutting through cardboard. Overall, I would recommend these.

    Great little box cutter!

These are great mini box cutters! They are exactly as advertised and a good value. They are small and convenient - much better than the scissors I had been using to open difficult boxes. They have a lock switch on them as well which I love.

    Locking!

These box cutters are small enough to go on a key ring but they're still comfortable to use. They also have a little switch on the back to lock the blade open or closed. 10/10
