I bought 50 bags of the 5 pound drawstring ice bags. They do not hold up, They are too thin. The ice I put in the bags are the small barrel size so they have no edges. I just think the bags Are too thin to hold eyes.

I bought the 5 lb bags to use in an air bnb. We have an ice machine so I keep bags of ice available for guest use. I fill them and tie them shut so guests know they are fresh and haven’t been tampered with. These are the perfect size to fit in the freezer. I can easily fit 3 bags on the bottom shelf. They would also be perfect for transporting ice to a gathering or keeping ice clean inside a cooler.

So I was excited to get my new ice maker and thought oh ,I'll buy some bags so I can bag some up and not have to buy any when we go out, well that plan failed miserably because the tops of these bags if you try to pick them up not even halfway full, the top with the string in it just becomes totally disconnected from the bag it's didn't rip it's a two-piece deal and they're not staying together so don't waste your money on these.

This bag breaks the first time you drop it on the ground because the plastic is so thin. I purchased these to break up ice from my nugget ice machine, but these bags are pointless. May as well be using a regular sandwich bag. If you just need to hold ice then this should be fine.

Good size bags

My husband bought me a little ice maker and I have been using thin plastic bags I get from my local grocery store. Those bags are good for bread but not ice. I ordered these bags because the ones I was using kept on tearing. These bags are much thicker and haven't torn even though I take them out of the freezer and smash them against my counter many times each day. I haven't seen tears or leakage. They are performing just as they should and are providing me with plenty of ice to help keep me hydrated this hot summer in AZ. The bags are large so I'm sure to always have ice on hand and they have a drawstring to ensure my ice doesn't spill everywhere.
