Nice quality synthetic cloth bandage tape

This is similar to the name brand stuff. It's sturdy and does not stretch in any direction. It's made from some sort of synthetic and feels woven, but it tears easily thanks to the scalloped edges that help you start a tear. This adheres reasonably well and comes off fairly easily. Time will tell how well it works over time. So far I'm happy with this order.

    Strong medical tape!

I 'm very happy to receive my 3 roll pack of woven surgical tape. An excellent tape for holding gauze or cotton pads in place over small - medium sized wounds or abrasions; it made with a thick, semi-sheen material versus the plastic/vinyl [bandaid] type material. The tape is strong, cuts well, has good adhesive properties, plus, it removes well; no major ouch pain. Every household needs this in their medicine chest/first aid kit. Good product; excellent value!

A strong, tearable, wide cloth tape with a smooth and silky texture

SOME FACTS/DETAILS WITH COMMENTS: This tape is easy to tear. No scissors needed. The description says it can be torn lengthwise and crosswise, but I could only tear it along the width. It tears in a straight line. It has a smooth, silky feel to it that feels comfortable on the skin - especially if another body part will be rubbing against it. I love that it’s about 2” wide, which helps cover larger areas. (Most of the product photos currently show a 1” tape, but this tape is actually just a smidgen under 2”.) It does stick to the skin extremely well, which means it can pull on body hairs upon removal. With the exception of pulling body hair, it did not irritate my sensitive skin. It seems to have the ability to be stuck and re-stuck only about 2-4 times, and decreases in adhesion strength each time. This would mean it’s not good to use if you need to frequently lift up the tape and place it back again. THE GOOD: - Wide width - Smooth, silky texture - Strong material and adhesion - Latex-free - Tears easily - Non-irritating THE BAD (or not so bad): - Can pull on body hair - Can only be torn across the width - Loses adhesion strength quickly after re-applying FINAL THOUGHTS: This is a great tape to add to a first aid kit. It has a really nice texture and sticks well. You don’t need scissors to cut it, it has a wide width, and with 10 yards to a roll, it will last a long time. At it’s current price of $6.99, I think this is a great buy.

Very sturdy 2” first aid tape.

When I opened up the package, I was surprised that the tape even LOOKED so strong. I looked like nylon or polyester, yet was soft. It both sticks well and is easily removed. It stays on even though the wound area routinely rubs against clothing and the bedding. I didn’t need scissors to cut it as it tears easily into what ever size piece you need. It comes in a 3-pack, so I put one in each bathroom and one in the car. I also got the 1” size.

I am pleasantly impressed and will definitely be ordering more of these, especially at these prices.

We have slowly been replenishing our home first-aid kit, after some considerable use over the last few seasons. We were low on most things, but most especially those items that form the basis for basic first-aid like, square dressings and tape. As fist aid care is forever evolving and changing, we wanted to take the opportunity to try out these newer types of tapes over the older types that we are more familiar with. So, we ordered this 6-pack of these new type of rolls, to try them out in our first aid kit for a while. I must say, having tried out some of this for the first time, I really like this tape. What I like most is: - It sticks well to dry skin. The question is how well does it stick to bloody or, sweaty skin? - It appears to be very strong. - They have made it so that it can be torn easily in to any size, widthways or lengthways. - Safe for sensitive skin which makes it especially perfect for securing bulky dressings. - Soft and silky feel. Strange as it sounds, some people don’t like the feel of some tapes. - For this price? 6 Rolls? This is fantastic value. I am pleasantly impressed and will definitely be ordering more of these, especially at these prices.

Silk-like durable cloth medical tape 3 roll pack

I like that you receive 3 rolls of this high quality, durable tape, each 2 inches by 10 yards. The tape is durable and high quality, yet it is thin enough that you can smoothly tear it off the roll. It is a surgical type tape with a silk like look and feel to the cloth. You can see through the tape some and you can also write on the tape if needed. While the tape does adhere well, I did not find it difficult or uncomfortable to remove it from my skin. The company states the tape is ideal for strong hold on surgical dressings, securing splints, and for long term care.

    Strong, non-stretch, durable, water resistant

This is very similar to the old medical tape that I remember. It is thick, very sticky, doesn't strech, has a slick touch to the back side, water resistant. It could be used on bare skin, though it will pull at the skin qhen removing, leave sticky residue, but I think it's best use would be for building splints and holding padding in place. It would also work for wrapping and protecting more delicate wound dressings, as well as taping those hot spots on feet to keep them from turning into blisters. This is a great value at this price. I would expect to pay more than this for just one roll at Wally World.

Very good tape, breathable, strong, easy to remove with no residue left, great value

Pleasantly surprised. Easy to place, strong adhesion yet once removed it leaves no residue. Good for covering injuries, scars, securing splints, but also for taping for sports -like above ankles in football, THE football that is actually played with the foot and with an actual ball- :) Good quality, recommended.

Good Tape - Feels Sticky when Removing

Cloth medical tape is great in some instances because it really sticks well and holds things down and doesn't tear as easily as other medical tapes, however, when using this product I did notice once I pulled the tape off my skin had a bit of a sticky feeling where the adhesive from the tape seemed to stay on my skin. This would likely not be an ideal choice for someone with very delicate skin, however, if you need a tape to really hold a bandage down this stuff works great. It is very durable -- much more so that other medical tapes I have used. The two inches is a nice size to be able to get enough of the tape on the bandage and enough on the skin to really get a nice bond.

    As Described

We have a growing first-aid kit and these rolls of tape will add what I hope will be the finishing touch. The tape seems sticky enough to hold yet no so much that it will be difficult to remove when the time comes. It is wider but very similar to the tape which is used in medical facilities to hold absorbent material in place after blood is drawn. The edges of the tape are lightly serrated which makes it easier to tear in case scissors are not available. The serrations could prove to be a very useful feature. Otherwise, the tape appears to be very strong.
