    Excellent caulking gun

While I haven't used it quite yet, the build quality seems great and it includes a built-in tool to pierce the the caulk or sealant and really nice ratcheting action. Purchased it to use for sealant on my campervan.

    All You Need

This simple caulking tool is all I need. The steel frame built is strong enough for the job needed. I have placed regular 10oz cartridge into the caulking tool and that sat well. Once after placing the cartridge, the handle pull is very softly pushing the plate rod that we call ratchet-style pressure rod and it is generating exact amount of pressure to start the work. This is almost making no noise and good in case of someone like me dislikes squeaking noises my old one made. I'm very happy with this gun and would recommend. Thanks.

An excellent DIY caulking gun for the average homeowner at a bargain basement price …

Mind you, I don’t use a caulking gun very often … practically never, actually. Every time I do go to find my caulking gun, someone inevitably has left a cartridge in it or let it rust. I decided that for the price of this particular gun, I need to have one on hand. The choice was an excellent one as this caulking gun is exactly what I want and need. It’s not a professional tool, by any means, but I don’t need one. I do have need for one now and then for my DIY chores around this old house. I do have a few in mind and want a fully functional caulking gun on hand. The quality is quite good and it works very well. For under $10, the price is a bargain basement one.

    Nice for the price!

This caulk gun is nice for the price! It's perfect for the average homeowner and does what it's made to do. I have only used it a few times now, but it works. No complaints.

    Pretty average caulking gun.

This caulking gun is almost like most others. The only real difference I noticed is that there is no release lever. You turn the shaft in the back it it will slip of the gear and release pressure. I dont see the advantage over traditional caulking guns. I'm also not sure about the no drip claim. It will still drip if the pressure is on the shaft until you release it.

    It works

This is an inexpensive caulking gun that does what it should. I wouldn't use it with thick or old materials due to the slot at the top of the squeeze trigger. It is a weak point that would fold with too much pressure. It operates smoothly and the tip cutter and piercing rod are nice features.

    Reasonable quality for the price.

My husband tends to throw and break caulking guns because he gets frustrated with them. This one has been used several times with no cursing and no throwing, so it works. I’m not convinced that it will have a long lifespan because the metal is fairly thin— it’s not something you’re going to pass down to your child as the best caulking gun ever— but it’ll last us a few years if we’re lucky, which is about how long most of them last. The price seems average for average quality, so it meets our expectations.

    econo line product

This caulking gun for the price is okay quality. Compared to a professional grade caulking gun it's no comparison as this is thin metal and the features are lacking. You don't have a release tab to pull the slider back. Instead you rotate 180 degrees and manually pull back. The metal is thin. I would have given this 2 to 3 stars, but given the price I gave it 4 stars. It's not something I would use as my main go to caulking gun, but as a disposable unit..it works.
