We travel quite a lot and so far our (cheap) suitcases didn't survive many trips but these are very obviously of a much higher quality. Lots of space, it's crazy how much fits into them! From the outside they are the same size of those we already have, but so much more fits inside. It's light, easy to roll and handle, can be extended, and we simply love the color. After traveling internationally on 3 very long flights with layovers, you can hardly see any signs of wear and tear on them. The only thing I am still getting used to, is the postion of the side handle. It always happens to me, that I open and move the open side of the suitcase on top, which means that things shift inside. The other side has a cover that you can zip shut to hold everything in place, so to me it seems it would be logical to keep this one in the bottom. I feel the handle should have better be put on the other half of the suitcase, but in the end, it's just a small inconvenience that I will get used to.

I recently purchased a Samsonite carry-on, and I am absolutely thrilled with this travel companion! From its thoughtful design to its exceptional quality, it has exceeded all my expectations. One of the standout features of this carry-on is the popable computer pocket. This innovative addition allows me to conveniently access my laptop without having to fully unzip the bag. It's perfect for quickly going through airport security or when I need to take out my laptop during a flight. The padded compartment provides excellent protection for my device, giving me peace of mind during my travels. The smooth wheels are a game-changer, making navigation through busy airports or bustling streets an effortless experience. They glide effortlessly, and the telescopic handle provides excellent control and maneuverability. I love how easy it is to roll this carry-on alongside me, even in crowded spaces. The overall quality of the Samsonite carry-on is outstanding. The materials feel durable and well-crafted, ensuring that it can withstand the rigors of travel without showing signs of wear and tear. I appreciate the attention to detail in the stitching and construction, giving me confidence that this carry-on will be a reliable travel companion for many adventures to come. The interior organization is also well-thought-out. Multiple compartments and pockets allow me to keep my belongings neatly organized and easily accessible. It's a relief to have everything in its designated place, making packing and unpacking a breeze. In conclusion, the Samsonite carry-on is a top-notch travel companion that ticks all the boxes for functionality, convenience, and quality. The popable computer pocket adds a level of convenience I never knew I needed, while the smooth wheels and overall design make traveling a pleasure. If you're in search of a reliable and well-crafted carry-on for your adventures, I highly recommend considering the Samsonite carry-on. It's a fantastic investment that will make your travel experiences even more enjoyable!

I decided to travel only with a carry-on to eliminate the wait time at baggage claim abd this Samsonite carry-on is small, but holds quite a bit. I can pack 5 days worth of clothing (in compression cubes), an extra pair of shoes, and toiletries. This is very sturdy especially when packing more than expected. A few times I thought it may bust from over packing, but the zipper on the case stayed securely zipped, and it rolls around without issues, although can be a little tough on carpeted areas of the airport. I love adding my heavy backpack to the top (slides onto the handle) so I don't have to carry it. The handle has no issues with the weight of the backpack when I need to tilt it to zip through the airport. Works great on all four wheels too! Can go from smooth to rough terrain without any issues. The blue color is so nice! Fits perfectly in the overhead on the plane with no struggles, even after expanding the case. I also love that there is a handle on the side so that I can hold it sideways if I need to. I love this as a great compact way to travel.
- Jclan2024-06-12Very chic for traveling
Although the size and color are cute, I wish it had a harder exterior as it got scuffed up quite a bit while on the conveyor belt in the airport. For the price, I feel like the quality could have been better. It was stable and held a lot of items.

Durable carryon suitcase. Perfect size for European requirements. Also expands when you want to pack more. 3 weeks traveling by planes, trains, and buses and it held up like a champ. Light weight and easy rolling even on rough surfaces and escalators. Highly recommended.
- Dr. Jason2024-04-07Don't look elsewhere. I am a 2 million miler.
I have used the omni 1 and now the omni 2 for over 2 million miles over 100s of flights. These are AMAZING. They have taken an unbeatable beating over the years, but never broke. I have some pretty good gouges in them, but they never went through the case. Everything inside arrives safe and unbroken. Not sure how they do it, but probably the flex in the case? Like I said, no idea how, but they protect everything within this super lightweight case set. I have 4 sets now. One for each family member. I would never buy another set. As a constant traveler, with a lot of gear, this is by far the best travel tool I have ever bought. You don't need to research, just trust me. They have so many miles and 100s of flights on them, and nothing has broken on them. One cool things about them. If you fill the medium case, it doesn't go over 23kg. Its design seems to be perfect for the weight requirements. I really appreciate the effort they put into designing the perfect size to comply with the weight restrictions. The large one can get over 23kg if you are not careful. The large is designed for the business class 32kg. It also fills to that weight with typical travel packing. The carryon does not have a pouch for your laptop or anything like that, but it ALWAYS fits overhead (un expanded of course) and rolls so easy. The beading on the outside makes it slide easy into the bin, and away you go. CON but not a CON: They are VERY slippery. They slide so easy on and off the carrousels and in and out of vehicles. ALTHOUGH they do move around when in the back. A lot. The slippery outside makes the luggage survive travel, but when in your car, you need to make sure they dont slide around. Tat is the con, but it is design feature to make it less likely to get stuck of damaged in the airport belts.

Got this beautiful luggage to go on a trip with my company this year. It is just perfect for my needs. It is light and has so much room. The organizational capabilities of this suitcase are nice. I like the fact that it has a side with a zippered cover to help keep your items from shifting around when you open the case. Furthermore, the suitcase is amazingly easy to push/pull along with you without much effort. A definitely improvement on the old cases where they only had two wheels and you had to tilt to roll them.

Although the box containing the suitcase was damaged when it arrived, the suitcase itself didn’t seem to have been damaged. I will update my review again in the next few weeks after traveling with the suitcase. This will be the 4th carry-on overall and 2nd Samsonite carry-on I’ve owned in the last 5 years. I’ve traveled more than 20 times, internationally and domestically, in the last few years. I’m hoping with this suitcase I’ll be able to retire my current carry-on from TravelPro, the Platinum Elite Business Plus Carry-On Expandable Hardside Spinner. It has a dedicated laptop pocket that’s become utterly worthless to me. Also, the zippers are needing to be replaced. There’s very few suitcases with dedicated laptop pockets and even fewer have a built-in TSA lock covering the laptop pocket not just the other parts of the suitcase. So far I’m unimpressed the quality of this Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside carryon. The outside doesn’t seem very rugged for something with “hardside” in the product title. Instead it seems like a knockoff I would’ve bought on the black market. For now, I’ll give this 3 stars, and I’ll come back to update my review accordingly after traveling with it. Reasons why I’m giving it 3 stars right now. - The laptop pocket is a must for me. The pocket is spacious and most importantly it’s protected by a TSA lock. So for this you get 2 stars from me. - The Teal color. I like all my suitcases to have a distinguishable blue color. Makes it easier for me to identify.

I was traveling on Alaska Air over Christmas when the flights are full. They limit carry-on luggage to 9”— which are hard to find! Most carry-on suitcases in this style are 10”-11”. I didn’t want to risk our carry-on getting checked so I stuck to the required dimensions and bought two wheeled cases for hubby & I — this one and the LuggeX hard-sided case with aluminum corners. This one was one of the more expensive in the search results — and 40%-more than the LuggeX. I used the LuggeX on the way out, then swapped with hubby and used the this Samsonite on the way home. The LuggeX beat this Samsonite hands down! Both have the expanding feature — which I didn’t use on either. The performance of the 360° spinner wheels and the telescoping handle was indistinguishable between the two — they were great on both! They were both lightweight and easy to swing onto escalators and toss into the overhead bins. The LuggeX maximizes the interior storage space better than this Samonsite with square sides and corners and placing the wheels so they don’t push into the storage space. The LuggeX has a zip-around flap to enclose the contents on both sides — this Samonsite only includes it on one side. (I liked having it… but if you don’t want or need it, you can easily tuck it in.) The LuggeX includes two inside zippered pockets inside — this Samonsite has none. The flat surface on the top next to the telescoping handle is slightly wider on the LuggeX — better for placing a soft personal bag on top. The top of this Samsonite is slight convex and the edges curve down — my soft carry-on duffle kept slipping off. The LuggeX includes a low-profile sturdy TSA lock on top to secure the zippers — this Samonsite does not. The imbedded USB-port on top of this case is silly. It’s little more than an extension cable that’s permanently connected to the case. They don’t include an external battery, so the port is dead until you connect your own battery to it — but if you’re going to do that, it’s more convenient to keep your battery out, near your device, then tuck it into a pocket when finished. I like the design and look of the LuggeX better too. Overall, on the trip home I wish I had my LuggeX back. A week later I was on an international flight… this time with two full checked bags. I took the LuggeX as my primary carry-on instead of this. It was perfect — easy to wheel through long breezeways at Heathrow, with my personal-sized backpack riding on top, strapped to the telescoping handle. I’m going to order the 28” LuggeX checked case when I get home.
- Hatsue Asamiya2024-06-28Perfect size for carry-on luggage on airplanes
This carrier is the perfect size for airline carry-on baggage regulations, so I can take it on the plane with confidence. However, the carrier I wanted to buy was the lightest Samsonite carrier, which was a little larger than the airline's carry-on baggage size regulations, so I bought this carrier.
