I got this dress yesterday and am wearing it today. It is a great lounge outfit. No pockets. And it is made straight. I am a senior citizen so I have lost curves. If you are a pear shape, I'd get the larger size. It is cut straight from the shoulder to the hem. It is not an A-shaped garment. It is 100% cotton. I washed and dried it. No shrinking. Slight wrinkles. After all it is cotton. It is thick enough to wear alone. Not exactly warm. I think it will be best for spring/summer. I am 5ft 2 in and it hits my ankles.

This dress is very comfortable but not very attractive. First, the color is not as pretty as the picture. The red, if you can call it that, looks like it was washed in with black as it's a very drab shade. Second, it's just straight up and down. I got the extra large because at 100% cotton, i thought it would shrink. But it just gets baggy and sloppy looking. It's very long and reaches my ankles at 5'2". The material is soft and substantial. Not super thick but definitely not thin and lightweight. I would certainly not wear it out of the house. But for a comfy, warm house dress, it's fine.

Cons first: out of the package, the fabric felt like cardboard. But after a few washings, boy. It’s one of my favorite things to wear around the house. Also, the sleeves were a terrible length, floppy and bunchy under jackets and sweaters, and too bunchy to fold up. So I cut the length off by 2-3" and pulled the fabric so the hems would roll. This is tons cuter when I wear it alone, and it is much more comfortable when I layer up. Pros: durable fabric, washes well, and if you take it damp out of the dryer and hang it up, there are no wrinkles (if you do get a wrinkle, spraying water from a spray bottle takes care of it in a jif). You can wear jackets, sweaters, or tunic length tops over this so it wears like a skirt. Under a jean jacket it creates a sporty look, topped w a long casual scarf or necklace. I just ordered another of these dresses in the salmon color. Glad I got it!

Nice casual dress to wear with sneakers or sandals! It is not meant to be flattering but more comfortable and casual. What I like about this dress is the cotton is a good medium weave, not skimpy or clingy. It is not sheer which was a feature to rate for this dress but I gave it 5 stars because the 100% cotton is so nice, washes and dries so easily. I also like Hanes' color pallet, not usually saturated hues but more muted or toned. This dress was a beautiful muted turquoise and I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. Only drawback, it was too long, so I selected a stitch for stretch fabric and sewed a hem 4 inches shorter for my 5'1 size.

Hem threat tension was too tight causing puckers all along the hem line. The neck line is too wide in proportion to the rest of the dress - almost reaches my shoulders The fabric is comfortable and not see through. The length is perfect for me - I am 5' and 105lbs. I have an acerage bone structure of a caucasion woman, but this dress is a little too snug in my hip area. Although I will keep this dress I have to say if I knew all the details I know now I would not have ordered it in the first place. I do not recommend it for an average US body width.

It's like my favorite t-shirt made ankle length. The material is just the right thickness, not see through at all but not so heavy as to be too warm to wear in the summer. There is a vent on the left side from the ankle to the knee and that is the only thing about this dress that you might call sexy. This could probably be dressed up a bit, maybe belted with a cute pair of sandals but that's not why I bought it. It's all about the comfort and it's perfect for around the house or to run errands. I liked it so much that I came back and bought a gray one. They're well made and wonderfully comfy. The only thing I would add would be pockets but they're perfect just the way they are.

Just what I needed! Comfortable and flattering cotton dress. True to size fit. Might just get another one.

I purchased the Heather red, and I like that it’s a muted color. The sizing was correct. And it was about ankle length on me and I’m 5’5. It’s lightweight, and perfect for summer. It’s really just an ankle length T-shirt which I which is why I purchased it. It’s perfect for casual wear in the house or to jump in the car for a quick errand.

I like simple throw on dresses. This works, but better for the fall or early spring. Much heavier cotton than wanted for summertime.

Love the fabric but cut slender for the size.
