The color is very pale pink and black. I haven’t traveled with the set but I expect it will show dirt/scuffs since it is such a light color. The interior has a zipped pocket to keep socks/underwear/smaller items separate. The suitcases expand to fit more clothes if needed. The wheels run smoothly and maneuver easily. The set appears to be sturdy so far. The suitcases can be stored nested together so that they take up less room (although the largest suitcase is still very large)! Overall this is a nice starter set that I hope will last for some time! It’s a good option for a good quality set at reasonable price point.

“American Tourister Westridge Hardshell Luggage Set - 3 Piece Set - 20" Carry-On, 24” & 28” Checked Luggage Set with Spinner Wheels - Expandable Hard Suitcases for Travel - Hard ABS Shell - Light Pink” I received my first 3 piece set of American Tourister luggage as a graduation gift 46 years ago. It’s a great set, and after all these years, I still have it today. Granted, it’s very heavy compared to this new set, and my old set also doesn’t have wheels, and therefore, no trolley handles. This new set is an excellent mid-grade set. The zippers operate smoothly and easily, and they’re set up to allow you to add your own luggage locks, if desired. The 4 double spinner wheels rotate and roll easily, and the trolley handles adjust easily to a couple of different lengths - perfect both for me, at 6’3”, and my wife, at 5’2”. The two larger pieces have convenient top and side handles for either horizontal or vertical carrying. The smaller carry-on case has only a top handle for vertical carrying. The dividers on the interior are sufficient to contain your belongings within each half of the cases. There’s also a zippered pocket within each case for carrying smaller items. I’m not sure where they got the advertised measurements from. The 28” case is actually 30” tall including the wheels - 27 1/2” for just the case. The 24” case is actually 26 1/4” tall including the wheels - 23 3/4” for just the case. The 20” carry-on is actually 21” tall including the wheels - 18 1/2” for just the case. Each case has a separate zipper which allows the case to expand 1” when unzipped - good for overstuffing the case on your return trip, allowing you to bring home some purchases from your destination. The cases also come with a 10 year warranty. Even though these are completely different than my 46 year old American Tourister luggage (they’re much improved), I expect them to last for many years.

This set of luggage is perfect for me. The carry-on is spacious enough for two to three days worth of clothes and toiletries. For longer stays or more than one person the mid-size piece does the trick. For those who need even more space, the largest suitcase has room for much more. The hard outer shell keeps my things safe from bangs, stacking, and rough treatment. The inner compartment is separated in halfs with a zippable side and an elastic buckle on the other. The dividing fabric also has a zippable pocket. Each suitcase can be expanded to hold "just a little more" and the zippers have loops for a lock. The extendible handles have a push button to release them so they stay in place. A carry handle on the top and side allow the cases to be carried and heaved with ease. The 4 wheels on the bottom are on casters and each can rotate 360 degrees making dragging by extended handle or just the top handhold easy. (My children enjoy just spinning the case in place.) The light pink color shows smudges and dirt easily but is easy to identify on the luggage carousel. I really love this set! The zippers are strong and durable, even when cramming the luggage beyond full.

Not my first set of American Tourister luggage, these did not disappoint. The luggage was very well constructed. The shell is extremely light yet strong. The interior lining is made of good material; no frills but remains functional. The zippers are very strong (I tend to carry the luggage by the zipper as I close or open them). They even thought of putting in a larger handle for the expansion zipper. The adjustable handles are solid but light as well. The grips appear to be of usual reliability expected from American Tourister luggage. Love the wheels! They run very smooth and quiet, similar to Tumi luggage. Even the color looked really good. It is a nice subtle pink, which should be easy to identify at a luggage carousel with mostly black luggage. Now why only four stars? There are a couple of things I noted that would earned the final star. One, the luggage finish has a slight texture to it. Though I could be wrong, textured finishes have a tendency to capture dirt more than smooth finishes. So I imagine this luggage getting dirty very quickly. And two, the luggage does not have any integrated locks. It also does not come with padlocks. So there is an underlying extra expense that comes with this luggage set.

I am very impressed with this luggage set. I have only used the carry on suitcase so far, but I love it. The retracting handle is comfortable. The main handle feels very sturdy and heavy duty. The zipper pulls even have a nice weight to them. The wheels roll very smoothly and the suitcase feels very easy to maneuver, even when running through the airport like a crazy person. The inside lining is a nice nylon fabric and has a divider with a pocket. The outer shell took me by surprise. I love the look of it. It looks like a matte but shiny surface. Really beautiful and sophisticated looking. Doesn’t look cheap at all. The feel of the outer shell is a little unexpected. It kind of reminds me of an egg carton, like kind of a raw styrofoam feeling. It still seems to be very durable so I’m not unhappy at all. I don’t want to imply that it’s not sturdy, just the texture was unexpected. Overall I absolutely love this set. If it came in a beige/bronze color that would be amazing.

Until I am able to use these on vacation I can't give a full review on them. All I can say is that they roll around super easily and they are indeed lightweight. I bought these because they're "hardshell" luggage but when you push on the hardshell with just a finger it's quite springy. It seems like it has a lot of give and I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I have an R2D2 hardshell piece of luggage and it has no give or bounce and that thing has withstood many trips with kids. Overall neutral on this hardshell luggage set. Hopefully I can come back and give the rest of my review on this luggage set when I've actually used it on vacation.

This luggage set is just simply amazing. I have had in the past a hard shell luggage by American Tourister that I have used mostly for when I would go to Disney World and It survived the bunch of trips. I decided to get something not Disney/Star Wars themed luggage for use for future trips and here i am requesting this awesome Pink/Black set. It is very colorful and it is a light pink color with Black accents. It is very durable, simple design suitable for anyone who needs it. It is very durable, easy to open/close with the zippers on each piece. The luggage is extremely well made and suitable for Airplanes/Cruises and or Road trips. The wheels do not get caught on anything. It rolls smooth on the floor. (I have Carpet/Wood and Tile flooring at home and it is easy to roll on all 3 types at home.) The handles are retractable. Very well simple design. Recommend to travels. I'm so happy it arrived just in time for next trip which is traveling to a Beach trip just here in about a week in June 2024. I'm very happy with my luggage set and recommend to any traveler looking for a well durable luggage and wants a hard shell type.

This luggage set is a decent hardshell set. I like that it has the 360 degree wheels for pushing through the airport without needing to tilt and pull it behind you. I also like that the top compartment can be zippered “shut” to separate it from the bottom compartment. The three things I've found that I think could be better so far are 1) there's not a handle on the bottom of the suitcases for when you want to pick it up horizontally (to put in the compartment overhead, or onto a bed or something) – you just have to grab the underside of the luggage and hope it doesn't slip out of your hand. 2) the telescoping handles don't feel super sturdy – I'm afraid they're going to break after a bit of use. 3) the zippers to get down “inside” the suitcase (i.e. right up to the hardshell, but on the inside) if you need to clean it or something don't have “handles” so they're a pain to zip. For those reasons, I'm taking off one star, but those things aside this has been a good luggage set so far.
