This is as simple as taking the two units out of the box, attaching the metal clips that came with them, and getting your ladder out to do the "teach" procedure, which you will find on your garage door opener unit AND in the little white directions pamphlet. We found that our circa 2004/5 Liftmaster had the same instructions (same procedure, same order of steps) printed on the motor casing, so the little white paper made things easier. We have one of the original remotes to this garage door system, and one newer one that came with the remote key pad mounted on the outside of our foundation. Neither of us like that one at all and wished that we could have had the "old style" unit instead. What do you know? Here were the replacements online and they look almost identical (need I say a bit better, even) than our original unit, so this was a "Sure, why not?" order. I can assure you that there wasn't a single ripple in the process, which was completed for both units in five minutes and now both cars have "perfect, new" old-style remote openers! We couldn't be more pleased.

These are a bargain. They look like the original Chamberlain remotes, but have a light that is very helpful in programming. And most importantly, they have the ability to adjust to more types of openers than the originals. I have a Chamberlain opener that works fine, installed in 2006. I could control it from my car, which I just sold. Found out I had no longer had any openers that would open the door. I tried to program the three Chamberlain remotes I've got, no luck. They would program to my other two openers, but not this one. Got these on a hope and a prayer. At first they didn't work either. Then I read the directions, removed the clip, used it to press a slot on the back, and tried again. Booyah! Success! I now have these two remotes programmed to not only open this door, but my other two as well (they will accept three apiece). On top of that, these come with batteries, already installed. I'm very happy.

This is a great garage door remote. We have a garage opener with a purple set button. I believe this uses the same frequency as orange and red, yellow is a different frequency. Previously you had to be certain the remote you were buying matched the frequency you needed. This unit has a small button on the back to change the frequency- when red/orange/purple is selected a red light flashes when pushing the buttons. Press the back button and it flashes yellow and is then set for the yellow frequency. I don’t think you can use it for 2 different frequency openers, just the one you have set. This comes as a two pack, so you could set each one for a different frequency if you have multiple openers. Another nice thing is you sell your house and your new one has a garage opener that needs”yellow” instead of “red”. Just reprogram to yellow and you’re good to go. This is my first introduction to a duel frequency remote, and I really like it.

This is a multi-band opener that claims to work with older Craftsman (yellow button) openers and newer style openers. My Craftsman opener has a purple learn button(which is the default band), so I didn't need to do anything except press the learn button on the opener, and press the button on the remote I wanted to use. The new remote was recognized immediately. This opener has much better range than the original, functioning at more than 100ft. It includes visor clips that slide into a slot on the back and snap in as well as batteries already installed. Great value for the price considering you get a pair of them. Recommended.

I lost one of my garage door openers a few years ago, and made due with just one. But, when my son started driving, it was a pain to get out of the car, walk to the garage, open the people door, and press the button to open the garage door. I have been looking for an inexpensive replacement for a long time, and finally saw that these would work with my Liftmaster (373LM) with a purple button, and gave it a shot. So glad that I did because it works perfectly! It even seems to have better range than the one it came with!

I got these garage door opener remotes for our garage opener because we recently lost one on an out-of-state trip – no likely to be found. First I was amazed at the price - $15 for a pair of them at the time of this review. The remotes came with batteries and were ready to go right out of the box. It literally too longer to drag the ladder to access the opener than it took to program both remotes to the opener. The range appears good. The metal clips are strong – so maybe we won’t lose any more while driving.

Following the instructions I changed the remote LED from RED to YELLOW on each button I wanted to use. Yellow matches my lift master garage door openers. Pressed the button on the lift master. Held down on the remote button and it just works. Did the same for the second remote and one remote was done. ✅ Went through the same process for the other remote and it was done as well. ✅ The only thing left to check is range. I’ll report back if I have any issues. So far… 5 stars.

These replacement garage door openers work extremely well, and were super simple to pair with our existing garage door. Would highly recommend. Paired with a Chamberlain PD200 unit

Nothing bad to say about these remotes As stated in the title, they looks and feel just like the originals that came with the opener, and they work just fine. The product came with very clear printed instructions printed in a decent size font, so they were easy for my 50 year old eyes to read. This was nice to find, unlike many other products I've received in recent years that in order to economize are either delivered with no instructions or on a tiny piece of paper with a minuscule font, so they require a magnifying glass to read. Further, the remotes came in minimal packaging that was all recyclable, which I appreciate as well.

We needed a couple of more garage door openers so when I saw this set I wanted to give them a try. I have to say that these remotes work perfectly, just like the originals. Set up was simple and easy; all I had to do was push the wide button on the remote and then press the red button on my door opener. Your situation might be slightly different so check the instructions when you get it for specifics for your door. Nothing more needs to be said on this one, these are good garage door openers at a very reasonable price. I would suggest if you are looking you should consider grabbing them before they sell out.
