This is a beautiful green banker’s lamp with a very sturdy base, arm, and glass shade. To turn on the light, one just needs to pull the sturdy chain that compliments the lamp and then there is light. There is only one setting as far as the light that emanates from the lamp. But that one setting is enough to provide ample bright lighting. The lamp is easy to assemble, all I had to do was twist the base part to the middle part and then the middle part to the shade part. Lastly, I screwed in the lightbulb (that was provided) and that was it. The entire process took less than five minutes. In addition, the lamp was packaged very well and came with clear instructions and warranty information. One thing that I really like about this well-made lamp is its low price. Which allows me to decorate high/low and have everything from a Picasso serigraph, art and design books, a designer canape dish, an inexpensive faux plant, and other items blend in to make a cohesive and luxurious combination. All in all, I have nothing but good things to say about this beautiful lamp. The brand that made this lamp did an excellent job in manufacturing a classic lamp at an affordable price

I ordered this banker's lamp to replace another type of desk lamp that we have been using on top of an upright piano. I ordered the lamp with a green shade, as you can see from my photos, because the primary colors in the room are various shades of green. The color isn't an ideal match, but it corresponds adequately to our color scheme. More importantly, the relatively small lamp looks great on the piano and performs well. I like the heavy weight of the base with protective felt at the bottom, making it both secure on the piano top and non-marring. The pull chain complements the vintage design. I also appreciate how the shade can be easily adjusted to provide illumination as needed. The electrical cord is relatively long. The lamp can be assembled easily and quickly, and the package includes a 2700K, 6W, warm white Edison-type LED bulb. One of my photos shows the vintage quality of the reproduction. Some buyers may not like this type of dark-wash painting, which is fairly typical, to capture the look of an older vintage lamp. I think it's fine. Overall, I think the lamp is a good buy; most other lamps of this quality and design are priced higher on Amazon.

Yes I feel like a banker. Specifically I feel like the guy who had the front glass office. He was the guy who watched the teller line and if you want a loan you had to wait to see him. He would be smoking a cigarette in his office. Yes they used to do that. He had this lamp on his desk and he would adjust the shade to direct the light over onto his ten-key machine. The lamp is easy to put together and use. Comes with a nice LED bulb. I was surprised how much heat the bulb produces but expect some heat on the shade. If you need some vintage feel to your modern look, skip the smokes and grab this lamp. Nice heavy shade. Works well.

I have long wanted a banker’s lamp so I was pretty excited for this piece to arrive. It’s very nice quality for the price and even though you can tell in some places that the patina is just painted on, it feels almost as impressive as the real thing. Both the resin base and glass shade are sturdy and have a good weight to them. The bulb is bright and creates a nice glow under the green shade. I had no trouble putting it together and adjusting the angle of the shade. The only thing I might replace later is the pull which seems a little cheap for the rest of the lamp. Other than that, it's a solid piece for the price. Would recommend!

Pros: This is a nice simple lamp to give that classic bankers desk / research library / noir detective office look. It's well packaged and easy to install, just screw the base pieces together in sequence, install the included bulb, and it's good to go. Cons: The stand is NOT real metal, it's a resin painted to look kind of like aged bronze. The look in general is alright and probably keeps the price point low, but when I put this next to other desk items made of real aged bronze metal, the difference is obvious. Also note that solid resin like this can be fragile (course, the glass shade is definitely fragile too anyway) so be careful of knocking things into it.

This is a very nice bankers light that comes in bulletproof packaging. This is my first one, I have always wanted one and decided on a whim to give this one a go. Glad I did. These is nothing about this rather elegant light that I do not like. Well done!
