These are amazing for the application I needed although one of the 12 does not work.

Easy install, covered the wide 7" holes in my cans and they extend deep enough for my needs which is about 6 inches deep. Brilliant!!

Look good, easy to install, work great!

I bought these to replace 10, 28 year old high hats in my den. My switches have dimmers on them, however the old lights would flicker if they weren't fully powered. I wanted to replace them as they looked shabby and couldn't be dimmed. I found these and they looked simple to install, so pulled the trigger. Glad I did. I had all 10 installed in about 25 minutes, which included removing the old bulbs and high hat assemblies. I did encounter one issue when installing the first one. I fully extended the LED, per the instructions, screwed it in, and then began to push to retract the telescopic component and flush the light to the ceiling. However, my high hats are braced by an L bracket inside the assembly, which promptly bent when I applied pressure. I straightened it and from that point forward, simply guesstimated how much extension I needed on the LED. Once you do one or two, you have a good idea of where it needs to be and the rest of the installation was pretty easy. Still had to make an adjustment on one or two, but not a big deal. They look good, are much brighter than what I had before and can be dimmed to the level I want. I'm going to purchase four more to install in my kitchen. Very happy with these.

A very quick DIY thats worth the $ - Read for install tips

I purchased a 12 pack of these lights to replace 15 year old style “heating lamp” style lights in a TV / Rec Room and could not be happier. They dim quickly and uniformly using an Alexa enabled Leviton brand dimmer and they provide a much cleaner look to the room. Alexa will dim these increments of 1% up to 100% with the lowest usable light around 5-10% for movie watching. When installing, contrary to what I read in the instructions and online, I recommend to NOT telescoping them out all the way and then pushing to collapse them back in. Instead, try this: 1. Remove all the old bulbs first and then turn & leave the power to the lights ON. 2. Extend the telescoping component only a few mm where the new bulb can get a bite into the socket - Just enough where it will start to screw in. 3. Then screw in the bulb until it turns on, and in the process you will “suck” the light assembly up in the ceiling down using the compression of the bulb’s exposed outer ring. This will give you a nice tight professional looking seal to the ceiling and no gaps! Lastly, make sure you remove as much of the old light housing as you can. This includes unhooking or cutting the springs holding the plastic circular tube and outer ring from the old fixture. I tried both and found you get a better look removing all those old parts.

    Modern and Futuristic

So easy to install. Just screw it in the existing bulb outlet. I love the way it makes my ceiling look updated without the recessed light look it had before. Now my ceilings have a smooth finished look. I initially used in my bathroom, but liked it so much I am replacing my entire kitchen light with them -- and they extend! I didn't even need the additional extenders. Great feature!

    So EASY!

I had removed the old, dead flood light bulb and found there was no can in there - just space, and the socket 4" away. Hmm. Amazon. Saw "telescoping retrofit LED" and ordered 4. Next day arrival - took me longer to open the box than it did to install. These are very, very bright, but dimmable, thankfully. I hope they have a long lifespan. We'll see.

I can see the numbers on the stove!

We've been in the house for 15 years since the can lights were put in. Only one had a lens cover because I couldn't find a matching cap and lens cover for a can near a cabinet. These fit all the cans with good clearance and the door opens! They are so bright, I can see the numbers on the stove! They are easy to install and fit several lengths of cans. They fit flush for all and my ceiling is FINALLY finished. They as described and work well.

    Fantastic find!

I have been wanting to replace my ceiling cans for a long time. I tried a few other retro kits and they didn’t fit properly and were more difficult to install. When I found these lights, they were too good to be true or at least I thought they were. Today I installed all 24/of the lights myself (I am a 75-year-old woman) and it was a piece of cake. Whoever thought of this idea of the telescoping design is a genius. The lights fit my ceiling opening perfectly, the lights are bright and fit flush with my ceiling and they look fantastic. If you have been wanting to replace your ceiling cans, check these out. They are awesome.

I thought I was going to have to hire an electrician to change out my old can lights but lo and behold these things are awesome! These are a great value and look great!
