These stopper/strainers work very well. Only complaint is that the lip is higher than the sink floor so a bit of water always remains in the sink. Have to completely remove apparatus to let sink drain completely.

The conventional stoppers aren't my favorite, they seem to let anything go through. This item is wonderful, even rice can't make it through, it catches everything. The stopper action also works better than any other one I've had. It is metal so you can lay your hot pans right into the sink. The only down side is you do have to clean them more, and clean out the sink underneath. I just pop the whole thing into the dishwasher and it is well cleaned. Then clean around the drain in the sink. I can't recommend these enough.

My kitchen sink is almost 30 years old. I have cleaned the finish off the drain, the silver is gone and the goldish color of the drain is showing thru. A year or two ago I tried to hide that with a new silver strainer. It was a cheap fix, and it looks and feels cheap. This drain is of a higher quality altogether. It has a substantial weight to it, not thin and flimsy. (I could not bend this). The basket easily lifts out of the rest of the strainer to empty into the trash or to clean throughly. It easily stops the water from draining with a push, no struggling to get different pieces to line up. On top of these things it makes the sink look much better.

An excellent sink stopper with a good stainless steel finish. Silicone seal means it fits well in the drain. The open close feature works well & is easy to operate. The small sieve catches any bits & is easily removed & emptied, meaning the stopper stays clean longer

Works as intended. The base fit into my standard sink hole. It fits almost flat on the sink, but one side is a tiny bit elevated. The basket sits flush in the base. And is similar in catching food particles as my old non-pop-up one. The press button functions well and moves smoothly. This feels solid. The silicone ring can be moved up and down, and removed for cleaning. All parts seem easy to keep clean. It drains well. I knocked 1 star off because it was not completely a flush fit. I measured and my drain hole is 3 1/2. However, I still enjoy using it and is very convenient. This one stands apart from other in that it is all metal.

This sink stopper/strainer fits my sink perfectly. I recently purchased an RV and my sink came without a stopper. I was looking for just a standard stopper that you see in most sinks when I came across this stopper. Not only does this stopper look better it functions better than regular ones. It installed just by simply setting it in to place. It stops the water from draining and once unstopped it drains quickly. I really like how to stop the water or unstop the water you simply push it down like a button. The strainer portion is very nice, with smaller holes preventing food/debris from going down the drain. Now after using this stopper I want to get one for my house.

It fits perfectly in my sink drain and stops the water with a simple press and easily drains the pooled water and catches any solids for easy clean up.
