    Well worth the money

I like the two in one feature in this welder. I tried it both on flux core and stick modes. It has plenty of power in both modes. In stick mode I used E6011 and E6013 3/32 and 1/16. The welder gave good welds with both electrodes. With flux core it took me a little time to figure out the best settings. Start by adjusting both the V voltage and the A wire speed/current settings mid-range. That should give you a good starting point. I powered the welder off of a 120vac 30amp. outlet. If you using a 20amp. outlet, you might be limited to a smaller max. welding current, but I'm not sure on this. Overall you can't beat the price! No complaints, great product.

    Overall good

My only complaint is that it could have came with a better face mask. The face mask was a cheap one that you have to hold. It's more like just a face shield that you have to hold with one hand while you're welding.

Took a chance one this little welder but so happy I did!!!

Had a cheap harbor freight welder and never liked it but did the small jobs but was not good. This thing is tiny but has so much power. It welds so smooth and super easy to make a beginner look like he knows what he's doing. Would highly recommend!

Inexpensive, works for both flux core and stick welding

It's a 120v welder so this isn't going to weld heavy duty stuff, but for lightweight work it does great. It hasn't overheated on me yet, and seems like it'll last. For the price it's a great knockaround device for beginners and small projects. I really like that you don't have to remove screws to open the side and put in your spool of flux core. Like all these kits, the welding mask and gloves they sent are trash, but that's expected. So far I've only used the stick welding portion of it, so I can't comment on how well it spools for the flux core.

    Very impressed!

Ok, what do you expect from a welder this small for under $100... I'm guessing not much, kinda like me. I'm more of a handyman than a pro welder, so let's get that out there. But I've welded in floor pans to restore cars, fixed quite a few things, and have fabricated a lot of parts to get things going again. I have a Forney 130FI MIG wonder that is a lot bigger and cost a lot more. But this little baby is lightweight, does stick and MIG welding and had an automatic mode for MIG that adjusts the settings for you just by putting in your wire diameter. And it works! I will be using this a lot. Very portable, 110v, and did a great job. It comes with a 2 year warranty... And their customer service was awesome when I had an issue with it in shipping. If give it 6 stars for value, customer service, and how will it works!

    Great for beginners

When it comes to MIG welding I am a complete neophyte. This little welder is fantastic to learn on. It runs on regular 110/120V power, takes flux core spools up to 2.2 pounds, and includes almost enough accessories to get started straight away. I say almost because you do not want to use the flimsy plastic face mask that comes in the box. Get a decent auto-tint helmet and you'll be so much better off. The adjustment dials are not numbered which confused me at first, but the auto mode makes it easy to set things up right just by selecting the wire size. As an inexperienced user, this was a huge help to get started and be able to move to manual adjustments when I get more familiar with flux core.

Great portable sized 110v mig welder!

This mini-sized flux-core MIG welder is perfect for quick jobs and portability. It plugs into a standard 110v outlet and provides ample power for most hobbyists or average home user. The included flux core wire feeds super smooth and penetrates well. The line speed and voltage control knobs also operate smoothly. This kit also includes a clamp for stick welding, although I have not tested that. No rods are included in the package. This great kit comes ready to MIG weld right out of the box. The included face shield is a cheap piece of plastic with a tinted piece of glass. It requires you to hold it up to your face with one hand. Please purchase an auto-darkening helmet to protect your eyes and keep your hands free.

    It works!

I welded, it helded! This works as well as the Harbor Freight unit and is cheaper, so no complaints. You won't be making a weld that looks pretty, and you won't be welding anything very thick, but if you wanted to make a go cart or just wanted to do some quick repairs on a residential-grade lawnmower, this would be the tool for you. It's relatively compact so you can put it away when you aren't using it. No complaints!
