I got these for my 10 yr old granddaughter to paint. She loved them. She insisted both of us paint one. The paint is acrylic. Some of the paint we got was a little thick and didn't seem fresh. BUT I am an artist so I had plenty of acrylic paint in my house. We used some of the paint from the kit and some of my supply. My granddaughter and I had a lot of fun painting them. It does come with batteries already installed. The button kind. There is a little piece of plastic stopping the batteries from lighting up until your ready. You just pull it out and turn on. The light was just the right amount. They light up really well. My granddaughter was very happy with the results. So was I. I highly recommend this kit. I am going to purchase more of them and the others for the rest of my grandchildren to try.

I bought this as a gift. It has everything listed & looks like it will be a fun project for them to do.

I purchased two of these and painted them with my aunt. She really enjoyed it! It is nice that the paint, a paintbrush, and a paint tray are included with the light up cat sculpture. The only thing I would change would be perhaps a paint that goes on to the material thicker. Paint was a bit thin

I like that it's a decent size for small hands. I bought this for my neighbor's son to do. The seal wasn't closed(picture above) when I got the package but everything is in the package.

Its a great craft, especially for cat lovers or are having a cat themed party - Great fun for adults and kids -Paint is bright and cheerful and sealed tightly so no leakage and just enough to finish the project! And the fact that it's a nightlight is awesome! Highly recommend.
