These are a great value. Awesome that they won't eat batteries and study for little hands.charge quickly and seem to hold a long charge.

I did not expect these to be picking up signal from so many other walkies. A group of people seemed to be testing some new radio equipment they got and I was picking up their signals from towns in a different county and over 30 minutes away in different directions. They were stating their general locations. Please make sure to be aware that these can pick up quite a range. Any stranger could be in contact with or able to hear you or your child, from drastically farther away than is stated by the company. That said, these performed very well. I would not consider them a toy and recommend adult supervision.

I hand these out to my nephews when camping. They aren't actually toy walkie talkies, they are full blown FRS radios, which is nice because if they need to they can get help on standard frequencies but this isn't a set of toy walkie talkies for kids to play on and they should be taught to respect the FRS/GMRS rules so they aren't annoying others on the same bands or breaking any rules.

These work great and are easy to use. The little flashlight feature is an added bonus!

Needed a magnifying glass to read instructions. To technical to understand.

You do realize that adults will not want to hear your child on the radio pushing the call button all the time and screaming and singing into the walkie. Your child will hear people using vulgar language or a child predator trying to get your child to come over. It's never a good idea to give a child a 2-way radio.

communication range didnot work as expected for 2miles. It worked upto 300metres not 2miles. Great dissapointment :(

Love these. Work great. Excellent battery and perfect for small hands. However, the instructions for activating vox are incorrect. I managed to figure it out myself after support told me to hold them further apart…. I had mentioned I was testing them one by one and together spaced apart already. Anyway, you need to activate vox via the channel selection, select channel, select code if needed, then select again to activate vox. Wanted to use as baby monitor when away, so these are perfect. Batteries last well too!
