Not only the name, but also the sound of that item. I got this for my friend’s one year old as a gift. Hope the baby like it.

I really do like the idea behind this educational toy. You insert the cards and the toy speaks the word associated with the card. There is a large number of cards included which will add many words to your child's vocabulary albeit in a British dialect! Most of the pictures match the voiced words well apart from the squid/octopus mixup. The materials used are sturdy and seem safe for young mouths. I can see this becoming a favorite toy for little ones to grab and play with. Highly recommended.

These Enlightenment Learning Toys are fantastic! My child loves inserting the cards into the reader and hearing the words pronounced. The materials are safe and non-toxic, and the rechargeable design is super convenient. It's a great tool for enhancing cognitive skills and building vocabulary. Highly recommend for kids ages 3-12!
- MAZHICHENG2024-01-24Great tool for learning
This is a really good product. The technology behind this toy is fantastic! My daughter loves this toy! It teachers her, keeps her entertained and helps her pronounce words correctly. I really recommend this products!
- Ali2024-01-19Great concept, but accent is a problem
So I really want to give this toy 5 stars, because my little guy loves it. He's working on correctly putting the cards in the slot, but is able to do so with minimal assistance. We're just going through the animal cards right now and he loves hearing the name of the animal, along with the sound. I think it's a really good tool to help expand his vocabulary, but my main issue is the persons accent. I would not have gotten this item if I knew the person saying all the words had an accent ?british maybe? since it will hinder his pronunciation. Unfortunately, because of this and the wide variety of other similar learning toys available, I would not purchase again nor recommend.

It's good. Works as described, and is fairly toddler-friendly. I have no worries that the housing will break in any manner or a small part will pose a choking hazard. The cards are as you'd expect from cards, so they can bend or rip with a toddler, and they can swell if they are chewed on/get wet. There are some weird things here. The voice has a Chinese robot-like accident when it comes on and turns off, which is a little weird the way it is. Some of the pictures don't match either, but are close. For example, "octopus" is really a squid -- and the picture is actually a giant/colossal squid. Some animals have no sounds, which I guess for sea animals it is hard, but maybe give a bubble sound like some other products? Or for the snail, maybe some classical music inch-forward sound? Or a slinky? Something. I only say this because my toddler will look at it expecting a sound, not realizing there were any. Also, the dinosaur is a pretty intense roar and was startling. Otherwise, it's pretty good. Some other inaccuracies, but overall it is worth it and I would definitely buy one for a family member or friend with a little. Recommended!

This is a tiny little gadget with a pack of cards that has simple basic images of ie: tree, flower, etc. This is very simple and easy to use. Not too overwhelming for my nephew. Not sure about the sturdiness, yet but it is a good value for the money.

My niece loves these cards. She likes to play and spend hours repeating what the cards tell her. It’s very easy for kids to use and it keeps them entertained for a long time.
