I enjoy building these 3D wooden puzzles and I always marvel at the ingenuity involved in designing one and in laying out the parts to be laser cut. This trolley model was a fun build, but a little bit of a challenge, so I would not recommend it for young children. It's rated for ages 14+, which seems about right to me, but I would not recommend it for someone who has never built this type of model. There are a number of small parts, and some very thin pieces that would be easy to bend or break if you're not careful. (I've built several of this type of model and I still bent some of the thinnest pieces.) The level of detail is amazing - from the birds on the power line to the tiny passengers on the trolley to the blooms (stickers) that have fallen from the trees. The quality is also great, as are the instructions. All parts are clearly marked with a letter and a number. The letter denotes the sheet that the part is located on, and the number denotes the part number on that sheet. So keeping things organized and locating each part is easy. There are a few (very few) parts that have spares - the instructions clearly state which ones - so don't be surprised when you have leftovers. All the parts fit together well, although some of the pieces on the trees are a little loose. I do recommend taking your time and working carefully so you don't bend or break the more fragile pieces, and make sure you attach the parts correctly because removing them and reattaching them can make them work loose. My only complaint is that the lights require a USB Type C power supply, and neither the adapter nor the cable are provided. So if you don't have an old phone charger lying around and you want to use the lights, you should order a USB power adapter with a type C cable to go with it. We have a drawer full of phone chargers, so that really wasn't an issue. Overall, this is a very nice kit, with beautiful colors and made to very high standard, all for a reasonable price. I recommend it for teens and adults who have the patience to work carefully with delicate parts and to pay close attention to the instructions.

I had so much fun assembling this. It’s so cute, looks great on my bookcase. It took me about 4 hours to put together with very easy to follow instructions. It’s all made of a thin wood and can be a little delicate so be careful when putting pieces together. My only qualms are that it doesn’t come with its own cord and the plug in port is on the right side and not the back. Otherwise, it’s a great little build!

My husband loved putting this puzzle together. He is quick with these types of puzzles and it took him about an hour to set up. The pieces are fragile and a few of the pieces didn't fit together very well, so he did have to glue a couple pieces. It would be nice if this had a battery component so it didn't have to be plugged in, but it looks pretty lit up and would make a nice display piece.

I got this not for me but for my husband as he loved to build things!! I mean we really don't have any space to put them but that's an issue for tomorrow me. LOL This was a nice quality kit. The pieces are nicely cut and they fit together well. Has my husband finished this yet, no he has not but is he having a blast build thing kit? Why yes he is! So overall, this is great fun kit for an kid at heart adult!

I must confess I haven't completed this yet - I've done enough to see 1) it's challenging even for adults and 2) it's a high quality kit- I'm looking forward to displaying it among my models on the fireplace mantel. I very much enjoy making wooden models -it's a new skill for me - and I appreciate how this kit makes it easy.

Fairly easy to put together. Lights are a big plus and add some nice ambience to the set. Makes a nice display when done. Reminds me strongly of anime scenes.
