    Best running/activity/playing shoe for kids.

My daughter literally said it feels like she’s walking on clouds. She does cheer practice in these, soccer, plays outside, and even has worn them to school. They are beyond comfortable. They look great and stylish. Match anything. 10/10

    laces, and laces frame

Just needed a super basic running shoe for my son, one with a flexible sole and a tight to foot fit, the material the sole is made of just kind of has a foam rubber feel to it, but not a lot of grip for the bottom, seems like it could be slippery on slick surfaces, and the flexability of it is somewhere between stiff and flexible. so not totally stiff but takes a bit of muscle to bend. the biggest issue i have with it is the lace frame, its very hard plastic or something and when you bend your foot the lace frame cuts into your toes. i was able to fit the shoe on my foot (mom in big kids 7) and could definitely feel the lace frame cutting into my toes as i walked or bent at the toes. the laces themselves seem low quality, thin, short, and slick, not easy to pull for tightness, not easy to grasp, so thin they're probably difficult to untie if tied too tightly. was excited because my sons last shoes were adidas activeride 2.0J size 6 nig kids-but they no longer make those, and can not find any in a size up in those. these looked like the next closest thing to his old shoes so i was excited to find them, but to my disappointment, will probably be returning. comfort in movement is important.

    Cloudfoam + Minimal PLRs

not sure if these are supposed to be supremely minimal to the point of feeling under-designed ... but the result is that they come off kinda really basic. Especially compared to the X_PLRPHASE ones the kid had been kicking. She had those in white and pink (on sale from Adidas) ... but 8 months later, and she's more into the sambas retro vibe. Could not wait to get these out of the box. We both kinda like how they are streamlined, almost simple, but for a 9 year old, the weightless, cloud like aspect might be ergonomic on some level, but we like that her others had a heft and toughness to them. She'll surely get a lot out of these but just noting that they are kinda generic and super light -- so maybe not for all.

    Comfy but so not last

After 2-3 weeks visible wear on the soles and holes started to appear on the material.
