I bought this because I have a slight OCD about purchasing a product knowing fully well that there's a better version that I can afford if given a little bit more effort. It costed me $400. When I had realized that I barely used it, I had to force myself to quickly mature and realize that perhaps art just wasn't the path in life for me. The pawn shop would only offer me $60. Best Buy would only offer a trade-in of $80. Don't get this if you think you might return it in the future. There's plenty of cheaper alternatives made by the same company that's better recommended for people with tighter budgets. I would recommend getting one of those before believing you need all of the extra performance of this model.

I previously had a very old and outdated Galaxy Tab E, I believe it was. I had that tablet for over 5 years and it just was NEVER up to par, even when I had originally purchased it. This S9 FE tablet is an AMAZING upgrade and I love it! Everything is better; from the screen size to memory storage and to processing speed. I got the mint green and it's a beautiful color! It has some decent cameras on it, as well. Pictures are nice quality. The S Pen is a great tool to use. I was also able to successfully connect a Bluetooth keyboard and it really does help with certain things! All of my programs run smoothly, and the battery life is great on it, as well. I only have to charge it once every couple of days. Overall, I'm giving this tablet a 5 out of 5. I would highly recommend it! I am extremely happy I chose this tablet to upgrade to.

this tablet exceeded my expectations by a long shot. ive been an apple user since 2013 but decided to make the switch. i wasn't expecting it to be much better than the ipad, but holy- this thing is amazing. it charges super fast and the longevity of a single charge is shocking. it's not super heavy, the screen is the perfect size, i love that the s pen came with the tablet and didnt need to charge, videos and pictures looks amazing on the screen. Just amazing

- Litzy2024-06-06Great for school
I use it for note taking. Using samsung notes on the tablet is awesome, my notes on the tablet appear on my phone. The camera quality is okay...it's giving 420p. It's not the reason I got it, but definitely don't buy any samsung fe products if you want to have crisp pictures. The storage is a big plus. The battery lasts at least two or more days for me, mainly because it's for notes, but when I occasionally play games on there it still drains slowly, pretty amazed. Although, it did shut down and reset twice the few months I've had it. Once it booted back up it ran normally. I couldn't figure out what went wrong with it, but it is something I am lowkey concerned about. The mint color is very pretty. It does come with a pen, but if you lose it, it's gone. Unlike an S pen, it doesn't alert you if you leave it behind or anything. The pen also has no battery life to show in the settings. The pen kind of feels like it's out of cheap materials, but it's an FE product so I can't really complain. The fingerprint scanner is on the power button, which is a neat feature.
- Amazon Shopper2024-07-01Love It!!!
Love this tablet! I honestly can't tell that it's not a flagship model. I bought the larger screen since I take a lot of notes and it's amazing! Love that I can make folders for my notes and transfer them. I can erase, highlight and more. It's way faster than my Galaxy Tab 7. I also watch movies on it when I'm flying and the picture is so clear. I do wish it had a port for headphones but I purchased Bluetooth headphones and they work great!

Updates will be posted on the top. Update #3 12/07/23 My FE just got Android 14 with U.I. 6.0 Quick download and install no problems. Update #2 10/30/23 I noticed one reviewer said they can't stream to their projector with this tablet as it runs slow. One thing I noticed about this tablet, and it is probably more the software is that out of box it appears apps are default set to run in the "strict power saving" mode. i accidently noticed this when I had trouble audio streaming via an app. So, I changed the power saving mode to "optimizzed' and everything worked fine. Update #1 - 10/19/23. I charged the device from 19% to 85% (Samsung's recommended limit) using the Samsung 45-watt charger. It took 50 minutes. The same charge on my Tab A8 takes about 3.25 hours. It came a day early. The packaging was excellent. I also have a Tab A7 and Tab A8. I purchased the Tab S9 FE 10.9" to replace the Tab A7 which stopped Android updates with Android 12. I also purchased Samsung's 45-watt charger. The battery was at 51%. I charged it to 91%, I didn't watch the clock so I don't know exactly how long it took but it was quick. I then used Samsung Flow used be Samsung Switch to copy my apps and data from the Tab A8. The Tab S9 came with a cable to I was able to use the wired method for the copying. it went pretty quick. All the apps except two copied. One for some reason is not compatible with the S9. The other I was able to install from Google Play. After that I spent a Few hours organizing my home screen with Microsoft Launcher and signing in and testing my music apps. The audio is okay but when I connected the tablet to one of Sound Core Bluetooth-Speakers I had to turn the volume down to under 25%. The S9 FE is definitely faster than the Tab A8. At one time I had about a half dozen apps open without a problem. The extra .4" in the display over the A8 is nice. The tablet is definitely bright enough, I am keeping the brightness settings at about 10%. I haven't tried any games since I don't play them. I did check the download and upload speed and it was basically the same as the Tab A8 which is fine for me. As far as the OS goes. It came with Android 13 and Samsung U.I 5.1.1. However, the Android security update was Aug 1st. I imagine it will update soon enough. Google Play was June 2023. It took three restarts to bring it up to September which is a Google issue. That is it for now. I will post an update or two to this once I get more battery and other information. Another excellent product from Samsung.
- Bill W2024-06-22Outstanding value.
Unlike many tablets today, this Samsung still has a memory slot. Don't have to spend hundreds of dollars more for more memory. A relatively inexpensive SD card provides all the memory I need at a fraction of the cost. Fast processor. Great HD screen
- Sarah Hammond2024-06-02Was hesitant but so glad I purchased!
I was hesitant to purchase this tablet due to some bad reviews, but after watching video reviews on YouTube I realized it fit my needs perfectly. I already have a Samsung Galaxy phone so setting up the tablet was incredibly fast. You have the option of what you want to transfer over from your phone, in my case I just transferred contacts. I love the fact that the tablet comes with a stylus unlike the Apple Pen which is $100+ separately. Now the pen isn't as heavy as I'd like and it is made of plastic, but the writing is fantastic and the responsiveness of the pen and tablet is excellent. Palm rejection also seems to work just fine and I haven't had any issues of it recognizing my hand while drawing. I am mostly using this to stream media, use my sketchbook, and check schoolwork and everything has been running perfectly. The battery life is debatable with heavy use, I could imagine only getting a day of streaming. But only using it for a few hours a day the battery lasts 2-3 days. Samsung also has battery saver options which limit performance but are handy if you are out traveling and need longer battery life. The size of the tablet is also perfect, I was wanting something maybe even smaller than the 10.9 inch but there are no options for Samsung tabs in that size. The screen is great for streaming movies and shows in bed while still being easy enough to hold in your hand if needed. I did order a screen protector and case with it, and both work really well with the tablet and doesn't hinder stylus sensitivity.
