- benevolent_one2024-07-04Works 💪 Buy It!
Plain and simple - It works, and it works well. My phone doesn't budge against this mount...it's 💪. I put mine on a Proclips mount and it marries flawlessly. Im sure this will marry with just about any mount or dash with a flat surface. Buy it, love it, and thank me later.
- Justin Hartberger2022-08-28Magnet is 'ok' - Adhesive does not last long on dash in the heat.
I've had this since March (now August) and I've had to retape this to my dash 3 times now. We've had a really hot summer obviously and I've used a windshield shade even, but still you start to notice the edges of the tape underneath pulling up after a few days and over the course of a few weeks it just slowly starts to lose it's adhesion. I'm trying to find a better tape that might work with higher temps as the mount itself is simple and works fine - the magnets could be a lot stronger as well so it's all around a bit meh unfortunately. Granted, the mounting point I need to use (not a lot of space for it on my old 90's Celica) is textured and on the top of the dash so it's in direct sunlight combined with my phone hanging off at the furthest angle from it to add the most offset of weight possible, so the scenario is a bit stacked against it. I have the Yosh pucks in my other car and they've always just worked - never had them come off the dash and magnets are crazy strong...practically yank the phone out of your hand. I had to add in the included metal plates inside my case to improve the hold on this mount or it wouldn't hold my Moto Stylus well enough for even a slight bump in the road, now the Yosh ones in our other car hold it almost too well lol. There's a sweet spot you have to find where it will hold pretty decently, but since it's not quite strong enough to pull it into the right spot on its own.
- OJ2024-02-07Stable and doesn't move once adjusted, easy on and off
I’ve been looking for a car mount to safely hold my phone while using maps for directions that would be low-profile, could sit horizontally on the dash, and was easy on/off for my phone. Pros: • Adhesion seems good so far. I have a wide, flat horizontal space on my dash in front of one of the screens where it sits perfectly - can’t comment on how it sticks to a textured or curved dash. I applied it in winter but waited until the afternoon so it wasn’t freezing cold - we’ll see how it does in summer, but so far so good. • Perfect amount of “stick” to the magnet. My iPhone X is held securely with no wobbling but can also be pulled off easily if needed. I put the magnet sticker on the back of my phone case, below my phone holder, and it works great. I like not fumbling with clamping it in, like other mounts. • If you place the sticker in the center of the phone, you could pop the phone on either vertically or horizontally • Locking ring means I can twist it tight and it will stay in position without coming loose, rattling around, or starting to droop while driving. Cons: • Would have been nice if it folded away or popped off the mount for storage when not using it; I guess I could have gotten the suction version but they’re notorious for not sticking well. • Of course, only phones with the magnetic sticker on them can use it; not great for road trips with multiple drivers using their own phones to navigate or listen to music. Would have been nice if they included extra magnet stickers so multiple people in the household could add it to their phones, or to use if you get a new phone/case. Overall a low-profile, secure mount that’s easy on-and-off so I can read directions safely.
- CheriMore2024-03-09Strong magnet, weak adhesive
As per instructions, I cleaned the dash and bent the tabs to conform to a curved surface, but the adhesive pad would not hold. The holder fell off almost immediately. I tried several more times to get it to stay but no luck. I wasn't able to remove the old adhesive pad so I layered the extra pad (included) on top of it. I mounted this time horizontaly to the top of the dash. It seems to be holding, only problem is, the two layers of gray adhesive shows between my black dash and the black mount. I used a black Sharpie to darken the edges and it looks better. I plan to use a fine point brush and black paint to cover the gray that I couldn't reach with the Sharpie. Since I had to move the mount, I also had to relocate the metal plate that I had attached to the lower portion of my phone case. I carefully peeled it off and repositioned it horizontaly in the middle. It seems to be adhering well, but time will tell. I waited 24 hrs to use the holder and it feels stable. It doesn't have to support the full weight of my phone since the edge is resting on the dash. The magnet holds my phone steady and I'm happy with it, even though I couldn't get it to stay where I originally wanted to mount it.

Works really well and is easy to use. Magnet is strong. Only thing is that it blocks the vent
- Richw2023-06-25Nice mounts for '99 Sienna-ordered 2 got 1
I ordered 2 mounts but only one arrived. I should have sent it back but took a 50% refund instead, ordered another set and got 2 this time. So I have 3, needed 2. I'll put one in the other car for the passenger. I did another review but It's not here. Maybe they deleted it because I got the refund? They include something called a magic plate that goes between the sticky metal plate and your phone to make it easier to remove the plate if you want to. Wife has a Samsung S22 and that magic plate wouldn't stick to it. 3M Blue masking tape wouldn't stick to it either. It must have some kind of coating. The wife didn't want it stuck directly to the phone so it's held in place by the protective case. It seems to work okay. I have a different unit in my car with a metal plate and it stays in place with just the case holding it there. The car mount was easier. I cleaned up 2 areas on the dash of our 1999 Sienna. I cleaned them with a cleaning tissue for glasses, put one on the driver's left above the A/C vent and the other just below the rear window defrost button. It seems pretty strong so we'll see. I'll update here if there's a change. My phone is a Samsung S8. I added a second metal plate to mine but they slide around, so I peeled off the paper from this holder's plate and put it on the back of the phone and it stuck. I put the other one from the different mount below that one and used the 3M Blue masking tape to see if it stays in place. I put the Otterbox case back on. This seems like a good system. It is certainly designed like what I had in mind. The one in my car mounts in the A/C vent. It's good but once mounted you cannot control the vent. I had to set the vent the way that's most convenient then put the vent mount on and there it stays. With this mount it is on the plastic near the vent so it can keep the phone cool on long trips when I'm using it for navigation. It's adjustable in several directions and the vent can also be adjusted. I'm giving these mounts 5 stars for now. Hopefully everything will go well. I like the convenience of the magnetic mount. If all goes well with the adhesives then I'll keep it 5 stars.
- jtpurcell2024-07-14Perfect product. Exactly what I wanted.
There are a lot of more complicated, and more expensive products sold for holding your phone in your car. This one is much less expensive, less complicated and works like a charm!

- JudgmentCenter2024-06-05So far so good
I have a large cell phone in a case, the metal that goes on the outside of the phone or case didn't stick, so I used a STRONG super glue that did work. It is so strong, I suggest you HOLD your mound on the dashboard while you slide the phone off the mount that dash mount doesn't unstick from the dashboard because the magnet is so very strong. - It hold a large cell phone and case. S21 Ultra 5G with soft/thick case. I put the metal on the outside of the case.
- Plantbasedviet2024-06-27I finally made the switch to magnetic phone holders!
Finally I'm trying out magnetic phone holders. Why didn't I do it sooner? This magnetic is really strong. my phone isn't going anywhere and a lot less vibrations/bounce compared to traditional mounted phone holders. I really enjoy this product.
