these are super bright and i love how you can play with everything the brightness and color. also i found these super easy to connect to usually i struggle connecting bluetooth light devices but these were super easy. i use them right above my pc set up and they look great!

Very smooth and diffused lighting. Most other products like this seem to have the LEDs visible underneath without good diffusion across the whole triangle. I'm convinced govee has the best LED products in the category right now, and they all sync up with each other. I have 3 govee products and I'm getting 2 more this weekend. The brightness and mode selection / mode creator are big pluses.

Really wanted to give this a 5 star rating due to their excellent customer service, but the linking cables are driving me insane. It's really tough to stick all the triangle panels on the wall without bending the linking cables due to the design of it. On top of that, the adhesive couldn't hold up the panels. 2 of my panels dropped, leading to the failure of the linking cables on its way down. Once a linking cable fails, it messes up the calibration and it's also hard to pinpoint which cable is causing the issue. They also don't sell replacement linking cables so you have to reach out to them. Customer service deserves 5 stars all around, but even with the new replacements, the same issues are still present. I gave up on the product to save myself some frustration. When product is working, it's amazing and the lights are really bright, but those linking cables...

I decided to put these on the wall behind my computer monitor in my home office to add a bit of color, art, and lighting. Connecting to the app was easy and worked well. The overall installation was fairly easy, but I used some of the packing material as kind of a guide. The lights come with triangle cardboard pieces as packing material between each of the lights in the box. Since they're the same size as the lights, I used painters' tape to lay out the cardboard pieces on the wall first. Then I used that to figure where exactly to install the first controlling light. Once the first light was installed, I removed the cardboard template from the wall completely and continued installing the rest of the lights based on the first one, following my pattern, and using the level. These lights are BRIGHT! You can control the brightness in the app, so if you'd prefer something more dim, that's totally an option. But because I wanted to use them to add more diffused lighting for zoom/webcam calls, the brightness was a huge bonus, and they work perfectly for that. I mounted them behind my camera and about a foot up on the wall, and I don't even get the obnoxious reflection/glare off my glasses. These are a bit expensive, but they seem like nicer quality from a lot of the cheaper ones. The body of the triangles also light up evenly, so you don't see individual led lights within them--just solid triangles. In terms of using them more for wall art, there are a ton of preset options in the app, and some are fantastic. As for the music mode, it was absolutely terrible in my opinion and made me feel like I was going to have a seizure or something. It listens for any noise (not just music), so it'll flicker with every sound in the room. If you want something like that but less obnoxious, I believe there's a "party" scene that just kind of changes the colors of the panels at a regular interval. The cord dangling is also a bit ugly, but I think I'm going to get a one-cord cord channel hider which should make it look nicer.

They work fantastic, very bright and lots of light patterns to choose from. Installation is semi tricky but not bad if you follow the directions exactly. The only downside to this product is the adhesive! Followed the directions, cleaned the wall, and still these would constantly fall off! Finally I figured out a solution: there are backing plates that pop off from the light panel (these plates have the adhesive on them) I lined up the panels, pulled the light panel away from the back plate (still stuck to the wall) and then drove a small nail through the back plate and into the wall (see pic) then reattached the light panel. Now they stay put!

Very well distributed even light. Patterns are nice but I noticed some patterns with incorrect bulb assignment. Not sure if I should bother contacting technical service as it is typically difficult for a complaint to actually change anything. 3M makes great adhesives but I still had to superglue a few triangles to the wall. Perhaps I didn’t have the wall clean enough which is normally the case. Make sure you bench test your lights because removing from wall will ruin the 3M adhesive pad and you only get one spare. Also they are chained together so if a triangle in the middle of pattern doesn’t work you have to remove all the triangles before or after it to access it. I installed them with the power on to make sure it was connected correctly.

The adhesive is cheap. It doesn’t hold these things against the wall. I followed the proper instructions and they still fell from my wall THREE times. That’s right. I put them up and organized them three times! Knocked everything off my shelves and against my monitor.The third time was not a charm because one of them broke. I followed another review’s suggestion to nail them to the wall, which I did. It fixed the problem but they don’t look seamless and I’m moving in three months with holes left behind that I’m covering with puddy. Don’t recommend these unless you buy your own adhesive which is just more money 💰 as usual.

I have had them up for months, I definitely recommend setting it up with command hooks Velcro instead of the sticky substance it comes with. so far I have had no issues with it coming off the walls and connection is great. Love how easy it is to setup with a Google home or Alexa to integrate it with your network. Definitely recommend.

First, the good news. They're gorgeous lights, so bright that I pretty much left them at 20%. The WiFi connection was flawless, and I loved them at night when I was working late. I enjoyed all of the effects, and I really like how the glow sort of spilled out behind them as well. A beautiful piece of wall art, unless... You have to move, like I did. And then you try to take them down. Whatever adhesive these people use is OUTRAGEOUS. I tried as delicately as I could to remove them via the attached pull-tabs, but this stuff literally ripped entire CHUNKS out of my drywall. Beware! I spent hours repairing the wall after taking these down, and I'm experienced in drywall repair. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. I might recommend using your own adhesive, something you know will come off your drywall. Oh, also, if you notice, a lot of the pictures that Govee has included on this page, they're more than 10 panels. 10 is all you get in the box.

This is my first Govee set. Overall, it's a great product. It can be a lot brighter than I was expecting - it will function well in both bright and dark rooms due to easy dimming controls. The installation experience and the app are great. The only issue I ran into was forgetting to connect all the cables before sticking to the wall (oops!) But the set comes with two extra adhesive strips in case you make a mistake during the mounting process. The app has a ton of settings and animation options that I look forward to exploring. Out of the box, there are several lighting options (including static and dynamic options, including responding to noise in the room.) The app allows for what seems to be fine grained control and scene design. The triangles seem well built - they all have uniform lighting and seem well calibrated. I'm really happy with the set. While Govee has set a very competitive price, I do wish it was a bit cheaper. It'd be awesome to add onto this or to build out a second piece, but this pricing makes it difficult. To me, the value isn't quite there even though it's much cheaper than their main competitor. Yes, the quality and the software are amazing, but it is a good chunk of money. If list price was a bit lower, 5 stars. Otherwise the value proposition just isn't a 5 star product to me.
