- OZGUR2024-05-22Truly a Game-Changer for Busy Professionals
Functionality-wise, the Sifely has exceeded my expectations. The setup process was incredibly straightforward, and the user manual was clear and concise. Within minutes, I had it up and running, and it has been performing flawlessly ever since. The efficiency and reliability it brings to my daily routine are unmatched, making my workday significantly smoother and more productive. Smartphone App Integration: The companion app is intuitive and allows for remote access control, activity logs, and real-time alerts. This feature adds an extra layer of convenience and security, enabling me to monitor access even when I'm not physically present. One feature I particularly appreciate is the customizable settings. This level of personalization is not something you find in every product in this category, and it allows me to tailor the performance to my specific needs. Whether I'm working on a detailed project or just need something to help manage my time better, the Sifely adapts perfectly to the situation. Additionally, the customer support for this product deserves a special mention. I had a minor query regarding one of the features and reached out to their support team. The response was prompt, courteous, and highly informative, resolving my issue quickly and efficiently. If you're a professional looking for a reliable and efficient solution to streamline your tasks, I highly recommend giving this product a try. It's truly a worthwhile investment.

We’ve had this lock for about 2 weeks now. So far it’s worked great. I love that it has so many ways to unlock the door. 2 little key card fobs, 2 spare keys, you can use the app on your phone with Bluetooth when in range, multiple fingerprints of course, and a number code. Although it does a good job of reading the fingerprints for the most part, we did have to rescan and save the same fingerprint an extra time because the lock would not recognize it right away. Overall for the price it’s totally worth it. Extremely easy to install, everything is labeled in the package and there’s an online video that walks you through each step.
- Juan2024-05-19You cannot ask more from a smart lock but consider adding a gateway if you need full remote access
I recently purchased this smart lock for my Airbnb property, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. This lock truly offers everything you could ask for in a smart lock. First and foremost, the fingerprint reader is incredibly responsive and convenient. The ability to generate temporary PINs through the app is a game-changer for managing guest access. This feature alone makes it worth the investment, as it simplifies the check-in process immensely. I specifically needed a lock that had physical keys for easy access in case the battery runs out, and this smart lock delivers on that front as well. Additionally, the card reader is a fantastic bonus that adds another layer of versatility and convenience. One point of confusion for me initially was the need for a gateway to generate PINs remotely and access the lock’s history. Without the gateway, these features are only accessible via Bluetooth when you are close to the door. The gateway acts as a WiFi to Bluetooth bridge, allowing you to send instructions to the lock remotely and view access history in real-time. Once I purchased and synced the gateway, all the remote features I needed were unlocked, making this lock even more powerful and user-friendly. Installation was straightforward, and the lock has a sleek, modern design that looks great on my door. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this smart lock. It offers excellent value for the price and has significantly improved the management of my Airbnb property. If you’re looking for a smart lock with robust features, easy installation, and great aesthetics, I highly recommend this one. Just make sure to get the gateway if you need remote access capabilities.
- anniecoz2024-06-07Best Smart Lock Ever - Sun will not kill battery
I love this lock. It works great - has lots of features other smart locks don’t have. It has a digital keypad and you can set it up with a code, fingerprint or card access. All work great. It also has an app so you can set it up thru the app - which is super user friendly. You can even lock and unlock the door with the app - but to use that feature more than 10 feet away I think you need to buy the gateway - for about $40. . You can set up a large number of different users and with the app you can identify them by name etc. . You can set up temporary codes - like for a repairman to access your house. I love the passage mode which lets you leave it unlocked as long as you want - this is great when have workers going in and out all day during remodeling and the like. Most smart locks let you set a delay of 2-5 minutes before it locks but don’t have this passage mode feature. Customer service is great on replying and helping. I Also love the integrated handle - some digital locks have a separate handle and they may not install right with your existing holes - so you end up with open holes exposed or having to get a new door - so be careful with that. This one for right in my existing holes and allowed me to put a separate deadbolt on top. I can’t say enough about how great this lock is. And the price is excellent. Try and buy a lock like this at Home Depot and it will cost you $300. Warning - Digital Locks and the Sun: I had bought another lock when the buttons.on my old digital lock kept getting stuck but that new lock had a problem in that batteries died in 2or 3 days. Bought it again thinking it was a lemon but the replacement had the same problem. Finally figured out it was the 2 hours of morning sun hitting my East facing door that was causing the problem. This lock does not have that problem. It’s been working great now for 2 weeks.
- Keith2023-09-17Good looking lock, works quite well, touch screen not very responsive
Bought this lock awhile ago and just got to installing it this weekend. Install took a little over an hour and a half. The instructions for the install are pretty decent and if you have installed a normal lock before, its the same process. Once i got the lock installed it software setup time. Again, the instructions arent too bad and were easy enough for me to follow. The lock needs 4 AA batteries for power and as this is new, im not able to state approx how long i expect them to last. Per Sifely there is a battery back option, which I assume means attaching a portable USB power adaptor to it and letting it sit there. But should batteries fail you have keys. You download the software to your phone, then connect to it via bluetooth and then setup a keycode. Now you have full access to the lock to add any additional pins, fingerprints etc. This lock has multiple methods of locking/unlocking. There is also a setting to have the lock auto lock itself after a set time frame which is adjustable. You can also setup a schedule for when you want it to auto lock itself. Fingerprint - was quite easy to do, same as adding a fingerprint to unlock your phone. You can add multiple fingerprints to it for all family members etc. Tested and worked. Physical key. You pop off a magnetic cover insert key and unlock. The keys arent your normal style key and are rather long and when added to your keychain they are like mini weapons. Tested and worked. Phone App - You can use your phone to lock/unlock as long as you are within Bluetooth Range. (More on that later) Pin Codes - You can assign PIN codes for each family member, a guest (if someone is house/pet sitting) and remove those codes. You can set permanent codes, temp codes time limited codes. You can also setup a PIN code on your phone and then send that to the intended party. I had multiple issues with the front screen not lighting up or being unresponsive so i COULD type in an actual PIN. I had to really tap it multiple times to wake up the screen. Tested and worked, kind of. Keyfob/Card - You get a flat card which you put against the front which will also unlock the door. They are a little bulky when on your keychain but Sifely has an option (Sifely Key Fob with Keychain) to purchase a smaller form factor keyfob that looks better and is less bulky. Card Tested and worked. I ordered the Keyfob so i cant speak to it working or not. If you want to add this to Alexa/Google Home, youll need a Gateway, which Sifely also sells. Sifely Smart Lock Wi-Fi Gateway (Model Name: G2). What this does is allow you to actually remotely lock/unlock your device and enable Alexa/Google integration so you can use your voice to lock/unlock or add a Routine and actually unlock/lock it from anywhere. I ordered the Gateway so that test is still pending. I really like the Smart Lock. I like all the available methods to lock and unlock it so im not stuck not being able to get in my house if one of them fails or i can use one of the keys if the entire device fails. I would have given it 5 stars if the front panel actually worked consistently but it doesnt.
- Daniel R2023-01-15Great lock, very convenient, and great customer service
We got these locks initially for a second home we plan to Airbnb when we're not there, 2 of them to cover front and back doors. The ability to easily add and remove temporary access codes from anywhere will make it much easier to handle guests. But once we had them, we liked them so much we got two more for our main house. We love being able to get in with a simple fingerprint scan, much easier even than other combination electronic locks if you're carrying heavy groceries or similar, and we never have to worry about carrying keys. The fingerprint reader is also fast, and much more reliable than my phone. We love the flexibility to issue codes to let a friend or cat-sitter in without giving them permanent access. And we love that we don't have to worry about forgetting to lock the door behind us — Sifely does that for us. Then there's the customer service — it's only when something goes wrong that you have to deal with this, but it's a good test of a company. We bought 4 of these locks, and had a problem with just one of them. It would say it was unlocked when we put in the code or our fingerprint, but we still couldn't open the door. Amazon's customer service couldn't handle this for us — they could send us a new lock, but we had to get the door open to replace it. Sifely's customer service reimbursed the cost of a locksmith to open the door (allowing us to change out the lock) AND sent us a replacement lock. The replacement works perfectly. I don't think this problem is common, but it's good to know that if things really do go wrong, Sifely still has your back. The only caveat is that changing/adding codes or fingerprints requires Bluetooth access to the lock if you only own this item (i.e. you have to be physically present to do it.) If you want to be able to add/change these from anywhere, which we need for the Airbnb place but not for the main home, you'll have to buy a separate Sifely "Gateway" to do it. Luckily, it's not too expensive, at roughly $40 on sale. One gateway can support several locks, in reasonably close range.

- Nurse Jamie2024-07-03Easy install
We purchased this product to provide extra security to our rural home without the fear of the loss of keys for many people living in the home. You are able to provide a passkey, fob entry, or printed entry. All work great. Installation and programing was very easy. We are looking into the extra ability to connect remotely with a gateway but this is an extra part and have not purchased yet. I would recommend to anyone.
- Secret Agent2024-01-14Good Overall, But A Few Shortcomings
First, just in case they are dealbreakers for someone, the shortcomings: 1. I bought this in part because it had a Schlage key system. Unfortunately the lock apparently cannot be rekeyed, per an answer I found on the company's website. That means carrying around more keys if you want a non-electronic backup for entry. 2. You can apparently enter as many wrong codes or wrong fingerprints as you like without the lock creating a timeout. It will, however, create a record of the incorrect attempts. As to the unit itself, it offers a number of ways of gaining entry, including a keycode which can be of different lengths, and which unlike some other locks does not let the user know that it is wrong until they hit the # button (more secure). In addition to the keycode, the fingerprint scanner seems to work quickly and well, two near field tags are provided, unlock from the app, and you can apparently connect it to smart systems like Alexa (optional and insecure). You can also buy optional remote controls, which are similar to small garage door openers. It also offers a privacy button you can hit from inside, which turns off all these "smart" ways of operating the lock (traditional keys excluded), presumably intended for while you're home sleeping at night. This privacy button automatically turns off when you exit through the lock. It does have a way of having the lock stay open for a variable amount of time after unlocking (default 5 seconds), and also of scheduling times of day when the lock will stay unlocked. What it doesn't have is a way of unlocking the door at a given time you may want to be going in and out a lot, but for those with fingerprints scanned into the lock that is a minor issue. Unfortunately the instructions are not great, but they are supplemented by the screw packets being labeled for what step the screws are needed. Also, a second set of screws is provided, although not labbled with each step. One minor nice feature is the inside portion has a backer plate which is screwed in place to hold the outside portion in place. That makes installation slightly easier, and is probably a bit more secure. Also the batteries (4 AA) can be replaced without removing a single screw. Overall this is a better keypad lock than the approximately 15 year old Schlage keypad lock which it replaces. This keycode system is much more secure (Schlage may have updated that since I purchased), and the available fingerprint option a nice fast option to have. The only thing I will miss is the ability to just set the lock to unlocked on a whim, and the ability to rekey the lock.
- mad Mike2024-07-13i like to auto lock function
okey so I have had this installed since 2020 and the only thing I have had to do is change batteries I had to move the deadbolt to the bottom but not a problem there. fingerprint reader sometimes gets forgetful but with passcode and app unlock feature no big issue best thig about it is I do not forget to lock my door and no unwanted guest. you know the ones that just walk right into the house I’m thinking of you Gary eff that guy. wished that one more fob was added to the kit but as there are available to buy, I’ll be getting some of these I guess since I have had it this long it time to get some.
