Does exactly what it is supposed to do

Sharp Appearance, Well-Built, Great Features, and the directions are easy to follow. This is a great solution for the door that leads from the garage into the house. This lock is NOT for a home's outside entry door into the home. It works GREAT with the MyQ garage door hub And the Amazon KEY program. This device will LOCK the door when Amazon delivers a package by opening the garage door through their KEY service. When Amazon opens the garage door, this Lock will engage thereby preventing entry to your home. Also, you can set a personal PIN for each member of your family so you know who is unlocking the door and when it is unlocked - You can set up an alert to receive a push notification to your mobile device when the device Locks and Unlocks. It's Worth Every Penny.

Works great. Hub must be within 10 feet of lock for Wi-Fi to work.

Does what it claims to do. Great MyQ integration. Pricey but supported by two solid brand names. Excellent, fast customer support. Installation required a bit of adjustment to my particular door. I had to fiddle with the locking pin for keypad side lever installation which would not retract. Fortunately my “Macgyver” skills came to the rescue and I was able to complete the installation. maybe a defect or maybe I missed something in the installation instructions despite my reading them several times. Setup was fairly simple, just follow the instructions and don’t forget to push the check mark button after entering the access code in order to unlock (don’t ask why I point this out - facepalm). Had trouble setting it up to work with Wi-Fi despite having several othe MyQ devices working properly on my network. After speaking with customer support it turns out that the hub must be within 10 feet of the lock for Wi-Fi to work. Instructions simply state that they must be within Bluetooth range which I normally consider to be approximately 30 feet. Once I moved my hub, Wi-Fi setup was successful. Fortunately, my other devices were still within range. MyQ supports multiple hubs on the same network so it might be worth considering an additional hub when buying this lock. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Great product but doesn't work with all MyQ base stations.

I wish I had known that Liftmaster's home MyQ products do not play well with their commercial MyQ products even though they have the same app. My business uses MyQ to control our garage doors (we have over 20) and our automated outside gates. We use the commercial Liftmaster devices because of our heavy use, our commercial grade garage doors and gates and the fact that the commercial stuff opens way faster. So far, so good. Bought this. Installed it. Easy, no problem. Tried to get it on the network and recognized. No go. Spent a few hours following instructions and trying again. Door worked fine, just didn't work through the app even though it was supposed to. My business partner tried without success. Our IT staff tried and failed. Tech support through Liftmaster wasn't much help. After an evening of frantic googling, I discovered that this doesn't play nicely with the commercial MyQ bridge -- even though that bridge is labeled as though it will work and is the most expensive bridge Liftmaster sells. This is not mentioned anywhere in the documentation or in the product description. I had to buy a second residential grade bridge to make it work. Once I did that, it worked great. Showed up in the app and I could operate all my old stuff and this new door lock right there in the app. Now, you would think I could have just replaced the bridge with the one that works with this lock, but you'd be mistaken. The door lock won't recognize my commercial bridge and my commercial doors and gates won't recognize the bridge this lock uses. It's absolutely insane. They're all MyQ products. They all show in the same app at the same time. But they really aren't compatible. I really expected more here and it detracts some from an otherwise fantastic product. Other than that, the lock works great and is amazing. Easy to code, easy to use, and secure. You couldn't really ask for more but it looks nice too and is a joy to operate. I want to give it five stars but I can't due to the installation issues.

    My Q compatible

If you’re like me and have my Q everything then you definitely need this! It’s great and a life saver when the battery on my key pad dies

Stay away from Yale "Smart" Locks

Bought this so that I could connect it with my Liftmaster garage door hub. It worked, until it didn't. It looks like these devices are designed to fail just outside the warranty window as I've seen a lot of other reviews here and on Yale's sight stating as much. Conveniently, their electronic warranty is 1-year. I was fortunate enough to have my unit fail a couple of weeks before my year was up. Yale is now downgrading me to a newer module that doesn't come packaged with their new wifi "smart" module. Original price for everything: $230. New model that they are downgrading me to: $130. New separately packaged "smart" wifi module $80-$130 and you potentially need a bridge as well as a wealth of batteries as the early reviews show these to be power hogs. I would highly advise anyone in the market for remote door lock to look elsewhere as neither the product or Yale's warranty handling for these new electronic components is worth the very high price that they are charging. [Update] After being reminded of my looming warranty date expiration, I told them to proceed with my downgrade but that I'd be leaving this review to let everyone else know of their policies. The next message I received stated the warranty request had been put in and that they were making a "one time exception" and providing their smart module along with the lock, but that it would still not extend my warranty. I fully expect this new lock to go belly-up in less than 13 months but at least they finally relented. Note: there is another model that is compatible with the MyQ / Liftmaster system, which you can find on Liftmaster's site, but they never offered me that model, which seems to be the update from this model. [Update #2] My new unit has bee installed just under a year and has failed with the same symptoms: Every time you hit a button you get flashing number pad plus 9 or 10 beeps, a pause, and then flashing number pad with 9 or 10 additional beeps. I once again called support and the garbage warranty on any of these products is 1 year from the date of purchase so if your replacement also fails once you are 1 day outside of the 1 year from purchase you are just out of luck. I repeat "DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER YALE KEYPAD PRODUCT" if you want the lock to work more than a year. I'm convinced now that the electronics or software have a "self-destruct" mechanism that causes these issues within a year of purchase.

    works great so far

I installed this lock along with the hub. Install was pretty simple. The lock seems well made. It's pretty heavy. Works with MyQ app and that's what I was looking for since my 2 overhead doors use the same app. I wish it didn't require a hub. That seems kinda dumb to me for something that's suppose to be smart. Putting it to the test ... If hubby can operate it, it passes inspection, and he got in this morning!

    Programming nightmare

While the lock functions properly, the programming function was a nightmare. Returned 2 units because of electronic errors the third unit functions, but had to “update” the APP twice before finally connecting. Instructions are poorly written and tech support was worthless when you could finally talk to anyone.

    Works well with MyQ app.

I have the Liftmaster version which works with MyQ hub via app. I installed the lock on the inner garage door that leads directly between house/garage. You would need to purchase hub separately which unfortunately means an additional cost of approximately $30 dollars. Upside - you can set the lock via the app to lock automatically when you allow "Key" (in garage) deliveries from Amazon and when delivery is complete garage door lock will go back to the unlock position. Also, I personally love the fact that lock has no physical key (to potentially lose).

    Nice looking lock, no key.

Used for door to garage and front door. A little glitchy when hooking up to hub for WiFi control. No keyway , so could be locked out if no other way to enter house.

Dedicated hub is required FOR EACH lock to control them through the Internet

The hardware side is good, it was easy to replace with the original deadbolt. The difficult part was the software side. The steps to add the lock to existent myQ account was a bit fragile. As other people wrote here, you should to prepare new batteries and follow the steps very carefully. I needed to close the battery lid to succeed the ste (and it wasn't directed in the instruction, but some YouTube videos do so, then I tried). Also there is note to install multiple locks. You need "myQ Chamberlain Smart Garage Control" for each lock. It's unbeliebable, but yes. I tried to install two locks for the garage door and the main entrance. I've previous installed smart garage controller that works with myQ app, so we also have a hub that allows accessing them through the Internet. My original plan was to controll all locks through the hub. However, when I complete the installation of the 2nd lock, the 1st lock lost connection with the hub. The screenshot indicate that. I retried entire pairng steps with the 1st lock, then the 2nd lock lost the connection with the hub. Yes you need the hub for each lock to control them through the Internet, I confirmed that with their onlien support. Fortunately the hub is about $30, also I found secondhand that worked perfectly at $12.
