Update: I'm very happy because ring solved the problem quickly, they send me a new keypad. "I bought this keypad on July 27, 2022, it's in my bedroom, I almost don't use it, because I have programmed the automatic activation of the alarm and in the morning when I leave I only sometimes use the one at the exit door, almost always what I use is the mobile app to deactivate the alarm, and this keyboard stopped working a month ago, I reset it to the factory settings, I connect it to the charger, and nothing works, it is dead."

I added this keypad for upstairs use (backup) and quick use in the event of an emergency.

Had to replace original Ring keypad. They’ve made few improvements from the original. Voice, option to turn on/off backlight. Smaller footprint. Like it a lot.

Being a senior, I would have like the keypad a larger size....also the volume could be a bit stronger and louder..

Great while it lasted. Poor battery

I have several of these keypads in my condo. You can place them on a table, or mount on a wall per your preference. You can connect them to their USB power supply, or let them run on their internal battery. I have the one in my hallway on it's own battery, and the one on my bedside nightstand plugged in. The battery powered unit lasts a long time between charges, so I'm pleased with it's operation. These units allow you to control your Ring alarm, and also receive notifications and alarms from it. So the more you have, the better.

As with all of my ring products it was easy to install and set-up.

This keypad is smaller and nicer than the one I replaced.

This 2nd Generation keypad is has very good features.

The update keypad is a must have. With the additional buttons specifically for police/fire/medical alerting I have more confidence if needed, the response will be appropriate. This was a replacement for a keypad that was broken and I was pleasantly impressed with the upgrade on this. Remains stylish and functional. Located next to bedrooms for easy access.
