Very nice thermostat in concept. The local api was the draw for me and this worked very well, once it was properly configured. This would be a glowing review but for these two issues: 1. It would 'heat up' inside after turning on the AC, and would show temperatures roughly 4-5F too high. This made the AC run longer than necessary, and as soon as it shut off the AC, it registered temps 4-5F lower in a short period of time. I replaced an existing thermostat and never had the issue with the old one. 2. It failed completely after only a few months. Nothing I did (breakers, powercycling, wiring, etc.) resurrected it. I ended up replacing it with the old thermostat, which worked just fine. So, my experience was poor, although I love the idea and wish it worked well. I hope mine was an isolated incident and that they continue to make local api thermostats.

Works as instructed. Directions are easy to follow. Easy to set up on the app. Will be ordering again when and if needed.
