I love this thermostat. I think this is the least expensive Wifi thermostat on the market when combined with the wifi module. Has all kinds of features such as shows the room temp and the Cooling and heating set points at the same time. You can set, review change and program all the thermostat parameters from your smart phone or computer. Shows cooling and heating hours for day week and month. and you can even send messages to be displayed on the thermostat screen. Large backlit screen

The Nest was way too complicated for my mom and dad (late 70's). They love this thermostat and wifi. Looks and works like a "regular" thermostat and they can understand how to control from their iphones. Thank you Venstar!

I set the heat at 71 but it stops at 67. I tried resetting it but that doesn’t help. I looked through the questions in the support section but it doesn’t have my problem. There is no phone number or address to contact the company. It’s the same unit I had before and I didn’t have a problem with the old one.

Don't waste your money, this unit lasted only 10 months and then went black, leaving me without heat during a snow storm in CO. I also had to buy the WI-FI pod to get this to connect to my home network, making it much more costly than it was worth. I was unaware of the need for the pod when I bought the thermostat. Go with a Honeywell, it is less cumbersome to hook up and get on your home network than this one was.

Easy to install and program

I was looking for a thermostat with an adjustable deadband and this one fit the bill perfectly. Not only can I adjust how many degrees the furnace has to drop below the heat setpoint before it kicks in, but it also has a separate cooling deadband setpoint as well. And as a bonus it has a programable delay for air conditioning, and a cycle time adjustment so you can limit how many times your heating or cooling is allowed to kick in per hour. The customization of this thermostat is remarkable. Can't wait to track down a wifi module to connect it with.

I love it.

I tend to leave the AC on when I leave to go to work and then relalize after it is too late to shut it off so I bought a thermostat that I could control with my phone from anywhere. Best choice ever. It is easy to program and set up. Venstar has real easy to follow videos on youtube that configure it from unpacking it to setting up the cloud account and creating automatic programs. I like that it adds a little modernness to the house. Wiring is clear when I replaced the old one. Comes with hardware to anchor it to the wall with drywall anchors and screws. I think it is kind of deciving with it saying 'Wifi ready" you do have to buy the wifi adapter for it ($45 separately). But if you dont want the wifi adapter it works just fine like a standard thermostat.

Item didn't work as well as it should 've, I tried everything to keep from returning it, product is defected.
