I recently purchased the LG Electronics 24LM530S-PU 24-Inch HD webOS 3.5 Smart TV, and I must say it has been a delightful addition to my home entertainment setup. Here’s my review of this TV: First and foremost, the size of this TV is perfect for my needs. The 24-inch HD display provides clear and vibrant visuals, making my viewing experience enjoyable. It fits perfectly in smaller spaces like bedrooms or kitchens without compromising on picture quality. The webOS 3.5 interface is a standout feature of this TV. Navigating through the smart features and apps is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. With access to popular streaming services and a wide range of apps, I can easily find and enjoy my favorite content right on the TV screen. The smart features are responsive and make for a convenient entertainment experience. Connectivity options are also abundant with this LG TV. The multiple HDMI and USB ports allow me to connect my gaming console, Blu-ray player, and other devices without any hassle. This versatility is a significant advantage, as I can easily switch between different media sources. Additionally, I appreciate the energy efficiency of this TV. LG Electronics has a strong reputation for producing energy-saving products, and this TV lives up to that expectation. It helps reduce power consumption while still delivering excellent performance. In terms of reliability, LG is a brand I trust, and this TV lives up to their reputation. It feels well-built and sturdy, giving me confidence in its durability for long-term use. However, one aspect that could be improved is the sound quality. While it’s decent for a TV of this size, a separate sound system or soundbar would enhance the overall audio experience. In conclusion, the LG Electronics 24LM530S-PU 24-Inch HD webOS 3.5 Smart TV is a solid choice for those seeking a compact and feature-rich television. Its impressive performance, user-friendly interface, versatile connectivity, and energy efficiency make it a standout option. If you’re looking for a reliable and smart TV for smaller spaces, this model is definitely worth considering.

So far I’m very happy with my new LG 24” tv. Picture quality is awesome, I did hook up my Roku since I only have Wi-Fi and no cable and it works beautifully! The only downfall is the sound is not very loud, and I cannot seem to get my external audio box to work with it, but I feel it could be the box and not the tv. I previously had a Vizio TV, and it Has to be the worst TV I have ever purchased in my life, just awful! So, I thank you LG for making me happy again! Well worth the money!

Would give it 5 stars except, using this strictly as a smart TV with apps, yet every time we turn on the tv, it has a loud static screen because we don’t have cable. Searched online - most solutions didn’t work. First step is to update the TV to its latest version, which at least offers up options such as defaulting to the Home Screen when powering up, although that STILL didn’t work. Finally, found a solution online - the core of the problem seems to be when you have no inputs other than the tv/antennae input…thus the TV always defaults to that, which is a loud static screen. The fix is, add another input, any input, so it can default to that. I didn’t have a dvd player or anything that I wanted to connect, so I just took an HDMI cable (I’m sure you have many laying around like we do!) and plugged it in. Then with that hdmi input as my default, the TV turns on to a quiet black screen instead of the loud static screen. Otherwise the TV is great, a bit smallish I suppose but it’s what we wanted above a treadmill, and at the price it’s a good deal.

I now own a top of the line 55" LG OLED (which is amazing) and the bottom of the line. 24 inch which is pretty excellent for the bedroom. There are very few options for a 24" TV but for me this checks all the boxes. First, the picture is excellent and sharp. If you are not getting a good picture, then consider the signal. At first I was unimpressed, but then I realized that my Xfinity TV adapter box was not turning to digital channels. When I tried the digital channels - nice, sharp picture. Second, I really like the LG remote/TV interface. The remote has an AMAZON button and a NETFLIX button, as does my larger TV, and they take you right to the site for wireless streaming. If you push the HOME button, you can flip through your options of HDMI/Cable channels, Disney Plus, Hulu, Vudu, and Youtube, Google Play. Yes, you do have to be a subscriber for access to these special site, but it is easy to sign in once and your are a go. 3. Sound - It sounds like people have wide ranging experiences with this TV. Good sound for me is as important as the picture. That is why I got a sound bar for my OLED TV. I got a sound bar for this TV too. The sound bar cost more than the TV, frankly, a Bose TV Speaker. The sound is great, and it has the advantage of being able to highlight speech, so it is easy to hear in bed without turning the volume up too loud for others. The TV and remotes sit on the sound bar which make for efficient use of space if needed. 4. In response to the contradictory answers to the questions above, yes there is a USB port, as well as optical and two HDMI, there is no headphone jack and the resolution is 720p (not 1080). It is rare to find 1080 in this size TV. I am very happy with this streamlined cool purchase that cost less than a tenth of my other TV and functions just like it says and is easy on the eyes.
- Sue Ann Clark2024-06-26Great for DVDs
This is a dandy small TV for simple DVD playing. I can also use it for my cable service, but the original reason was for playing DVDs. Easy to assemble, set up and use. Fits any area. Can easily adjust the aspect ratio and any of the other smart directions given. Go ahead and use it, you will enjoy it.
- David Irland2022-06-27Cheap device but adequate
Sound is adequate, just barely. Not much bass, and not very loud at top volume. Picture seems average. I’m comparing it to a non-smart tv of the same size, an Insignia that I thought was cheap and cheerful. Well, the Insignia has an amazing picture, better sound, easier remote interface by comparison, and it was $6O cheaper, five years ago admittedly, with a built-in DVD player to boot. The LG was easy to set up, but if you want to access an app that’s not on its menu, good luck. Take acorn tv. You have to go to the internet, so now you’re basically streaming from a computer, and one with an incredibly awkward remote control as your interface, ie no keyboard. Anyway, it works. Worth $160? I suppose. I got it for an Airbnb unit. I wouldn’t want it as a permanent tv.

It's my first SMART TV and I should not have waited so long. The size is perfect for my apartment and it is easy to use. Itwas also a great price!
- no name2024-04-05TV picture cannot be viewed full screen
This TV was very difficult to set up. My handyman was here 3 hours and I had to call LG up twice for help. In speaking with LG customer service they are not people, they are AI Robots because they only understand and repeat simple phrases. If you say a word not in their volcabulary they go silent. After awhile they repeat only another robotic phrase. The TV does not display the picture full screen but has margins around it which vary from channel to channel and program to program. I have it hooked up to my cable box. I'm also not seeing the quality picture I expected to see and it only allows me to adjust the sharpness to 50%. The remote control is very hard to use as it has pictures of things which I don't understand and they are not explained in the manual. There is no "MENU" button so if I get stuck in something I have to hit "EXIT". The buttons are small and there are a lot of them. The manual does not explain much about troubleshooting problems, it just gives you a few basic ones. The phone number to call LG is on the back of the manual and cleverly hidden so as to avoid people from calling. So far, I'm not to happy with this TV and the dimensions are smaller than what is actually posted. The screen size is 22" and not 24" and the height of the TV is also smaller.
- Rozed2024-06-11Just a little disappointed
I am mostly satisfied with my purchase. I love the size, the picture and the ease of set up. What has me scratching my head is that in 2024, I cannot connect wirelessly to the cable tv. I did connect my roku stick, but no cable tv connection without that benefit.
