The connectivity to the app could be a bit more improved. It takes a few seconds for it to connect each time and sometimes it just goes out to lunch and you have to wait a few minutes. Just plain happy I can access my system without going in the basement anymore. Was also hoping for more integrated weather functions and apparently that is the higher end models.

I really like this product, especially the Wi-Fi component. I replaced an older model with this one and I am very happy I did.

The Rain-Bird ESP-TMW is a great unit, but I needed a little help with my 12 station set-up. Jamie at Sprinkler Parts Wholesale was quick to respond to my questions, and I was up and running in no time at all! I highly recommend making your Rain-Bird purchase from Jamie!!! You get personal service if you need it! Paul, Arcadia CA

Easy to install and use. Works great! Wife loves the ease of controlling this from around the world. Recently while on vacation in Bali, the wife used the system to increase the water to account for the unusual high temperatures. Highly Recommend this equipment.

This product is great. I had an old railbird 4 zone controller that worked, but it didnt have enough zones for my needs. My old controller also was not wifi compatible. I have a mostly apple homekit oriented home, and wanted a product to control my sprinklers via homekit. While this product does not advertise homekit capable out of the box, there are some work arounds using "homebridge" that reveal the all of the functionality of the controller in your apple homekit ecosystem. All in all to replace my old controller and have this up and running took me 30-60 minutes. The app also is very user friendly if you want to control your sprinklers just using the app on your phone/tablet.

I like being able to quickly make changes to the program modes, renaming the zones to match the location and instantly running a zone while I’m in the yard to check on the sprinkler heads.

Easy to install
- Dan2023-05-22Best sprinkler control box
This control box has a little different setup procedure than my old RainBird control box, but once I viewed the online videos, it was very easy to setup. This unit works great.
- R.E. Tripp, III2020-04-16Excellent when there is a strong WiFi signal after a year, but not for a novice.
I bought it in July 2019 and it quit working in March 2020 due to Weak WiFi. My WiFi did not change so I suspect the Lnk WiFi Module got weak and might go out any day. As originally installed the WiFi signal was -40 but in March I started getting network errors, password incorrect. After studying many reviews and researching the Rain Bird problem database, it looked like a weak WiFi was causing the problems. I had a Netgear Extender AC1200 that was not being used so I configured it as an Access Point and set it right in front of the Rain Bird Controller. It has a signal strength of -24. I renamed it "Test" and gave it a simple password. I went through the Controller setup and it connected on the first try. I also set up Amazon Alexa skills and now I can tell Alexa to "Ask Rain Bird to run zone 12 for 10 minutes". Even though the controller is on a dedicated "Test" network, it is still connected to my regular home WiFi and can be operated by any attached iPhone or Alexa.
