So after buying the XLT with the heated and cooled, it was hard to go back to the base model SUV we have for running around and going to work. I didn't even realize these were a thing until I got this one and have been reaping the benefits since it's been so hooooooot this last week. It works just as well as the one we have in the land yacht, if not better, in my opinion, because the three levels are stronger. There is a pleasant vibration quality to it too that feels good on my lower back when I'm making the longer drive to and from the airport. It's plug and play, so nothing special needs hooked up to get it to work well. Fits the seat on the Equinox and is holding up well to the in and out.

I was skeptical after reading mixed reviews, butt ;) it cools just enough to feel a difference in 100+ degree heat. It's as loud as expected , but it's muffled out by my AC on full blast. The massage is decent and I could see that as helpful on long drives. Overall it's an affordable seat cooling option. Good build quality. Comfort to be determined after I use it on a long drive.

I just received this item yesterday and have already fallen in love. It cools immedately and very powerful. The massage option was a nice super as well. I bought a 2022 suburban new two years ago and they informed me that there was not an option for cooled seats. Ive struggled in texas summers UNTIL NOW! Super easy install and comfortable. It also has a 2 hour cutoff in case your car 12v stays powered when the car is off. Thankfully mine doesnt so mine shuts off as soon as my door opens.

Do you like discomfort and the feel of sitting on boxes?? If you answer no, then this product is not for you! You can feel every aspect of the fan boxes right on your buttocks. There’s no getting around it or adjusting the cover for a more comfortable position. If you drive more than 10 minutes you’ll be finding yourself pulling over to remove the cover because it’s so uncomfortable. If you answer yes…. Then go for it, get this torture device and live in misery. God speed. I wanted this product to be the golden ticket for not having factory vented seats with my car. But since using this product, I’d rather have heated seats on high in the middle of a heatwave than use this product. It was obviously returned back to the seller.

Unlike other seat covers that I've owned, this seat does not at all and that's thanks to the straps that this seat covers has. The way the straps work are there are some that go under the seat, some that go around the headrest and then a plate that goes in the crack of the seat to prevent this from moving. The fans on this seat cool just the back but noticed that the seat part supports the bottom. There are 3 settings that feel absolutely amazing on my back which is great because I have this installed in my work car. There is also a massager on this and warning, it's very relaxing. I have this plugged into my car and even though there are wires, I'm able to tuck them in on the side of my seat. I found that the fans can really be felt when I wear my drifit shirts which is usually daily. No matter how much I get in and out of my car, this seat does not move. This has really been keeping me nice and cool, especially during these hot summer months.

I primarily use this in my office chair because I'm seated for 6-8 hours a day most workdays and my back gets sweaty otherwise. I hoped by spending twice the price of my last cooler, I'd get a better product. I will admit, the cooling of this was much nicer, even if the fans were a little louder. The design concept and putting the fans at the small of your back, drawing air in from the sides is a much more efficient design. The problem is that I've only had this for 4 months and there is now a wire-short somewhere inside the cushion itself where I can not reach it to repair without ripping the thing open. Depending on how I move, the fans partially or completely stop working as their supplied voltage lowers or is cutoff completely by the short. It's incredibly disappointing. Especially since I'm sure when this completely dies and I replace it, I'll find the short was probably where the wire entered some kind of hard-plastic housing for the fans. Meaning that 5 cents worth of rubber could have insulted that joint to reinforce it. For a $100 product, I would expect you to be able to sit on it for more than 4 months without it failing completely. For a company "established in 2013" I would expect to find some trace of them on the internet to attempt to get a warranty replacement, but nope. Can't find anything except a bunch of their product listings on retail sites like Amazon. ---------- Update July 2024: The seller reached out to me after my 1 star review and offered me a full refund. They then contacted me about a month later letting me know they had a new upgraded version of the cooler available and that the wiring was one of the things they had improved. They sent me one for free to check out and so far it's been working well. I've updated my review to 3 stars for now and will see how long the new one lasts.

Temperature has been warmer than 85 and this arrived in time for a good test. I have been using it daily for a week now. Although it doesn't blowout icy air like luxury car would, it does cool down the seat so it doesn't burn my behind. I can hear the airflow on the back, but I can't feel it. Overall I am satisfy with this product, but hope for improvement on the next generation.

My old one actually did a better job of cooling with only one motor but required multiple modifications to keep it in place. Originally, I ordered one as close to my old one as possible, but it slid out of the seat everytime I got inside. I quickly returned it and did a couple of weeks of research before ordering this one. Although not perfect, I would say this one looks the best and is immaculately made. It was very easy to install but could use a strap on the entrance side to keep it from folding over ... I plan on adding one myself. The thing I like the least is that everytime you turn the vehicle off you have to use the control to turn it on again ... my old one was always on as soon as you started the car. With all that said, I doubt there is a better one on the market and why I rated it so highly.

Stopped working after one month of use. Update 7/5/2024: The seller immediately contacted me after my initial review and I must say that they provided excellent customer service. They fully refunded the amount and I did not even have to return the product. They were quick in responding and their responsiveness was efficient & professional. I have placed another order with them hoping I won't run into any issues with the product.
