I don't know what kind of magical ingredients are in here, but I've only been using it for 3 days and my skin looks amazing. Specifically my chest, it looks like I have a beauty filter on I swear! Affordable and luxurious looking bottle. I can't wait to try more products from this brand when summer is over

I have normal skin that doesn't get oily or dry, if I treat it well :), and even though I know rice is usually better for oily skin, I wanted to give it a try as I have a bit of acne that might benefit from it. 5-ish fl oz is a good size, and it lasted me a little less than 2 months before the bottle got empty. I adore the smell of real rice wine, and it feels so authentically Korean especially in the packaging, as does BOJ's brand itself. The rice wine smell is very natural smelling, and reminds me of when fermented rice water for hair and your face was super viral on youtube, pinterest, etc. a few years ago, which I really like and appreciate. This is what sets it apart from the other rice toners imo, that it's made of fermented rice. The advertising campaign with the rice mask has been on point, and totally convinced me to try the two lol. As for the performance, it leaves a finish that is matte (maybe tacky?) to the touch, but leaves a subtle glow on my cheeks, which makes sense, as rice and kaolin clay absorb oil. When I soak a cotton pad and leave it on my face for 30 minutes it provides nice hydration and is comparable to using real rice wine as a sheet mask. Overall: This would definitely be able to do what it's supposed to on oilier skin than mine, but I have really enjoyed it nevertheless. It's not magic, but I think this is a really unique product, and I will repurchase as I absolutely love the sophisticated scent :)

This is advertised as a “milky” toner but in comparison to others like Mary and may or tirtir it’s very thin and not nearly as moisturizing. With that said, I’m still enjoying this product. I’m finding that it absorbs very quickly and leaves little residue or shine. Definitely more of a matte finish as advertised. My skin feels clean and fresh, and not tight at all. My skin looks plump and hydrated without the excess film that many others leave. This does not contain niacinimide which I appreciate as it makes my skin very itchy. It also does not have any fragrance which is nice. Overall I’m happy with this purchase and look forward to see what results are achieved after ongoing use. For reference I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin.

This is a very gentle and moisturizing toner. Make sure to shake before using. Great for combination to dry skin.
- Mountain Mama2024-07-07Beauty of Joseph Glow Rice Facial Toner - Shake, Apply, Pat, Happy Face
Yes, shake it up, this light milky substances needs a good shake to combine all the ingredients. Then you can use your hands to pat it on your face but I prefer a cotton ball to spread it on my face. My face loves this product, it absorbs quickly and really, makes my face feel happy, silly me! I couldn't find any instructions about how to use this in a facial routine other than to apply after cleaning. I clean, apply this product and then add a moisturizer and a sunscreen when I go out.
- Pepto Bismol2024-06-22Not bad
As far as hydration goes I would say it isn't very giving, its very thin and the rice makes it feel kinda grainy. It's not bad but for 19 dollars I just don't see myself purchasing this again. Aluminum Chlorohydrate is an aluminum salt and it is an ingredient in the toner that is used to close the pores but it can be toxic to your skin which is probably why this toner isn't very moisturizing. I felt that the rice had a nice cooling effect on my face and I really wanted to like this toner, mainly because it was expensive but because beauty of joseon usually uses gentle, non toxic ingredients. I was shocked when I scanned this products QR code on Yuka 🫣

I'm not a fan of the texture. It's more thin and watery than milky and thick. I much prefer the Tirtir milk toner which leaves the skin feeling soft. Also this one by Beauty of Joseon has an unpleasant smell.
