My daughter likes to "graze" as her dentist puts it. She eats a lot of small meals so according to her dentist her teeth constantly have stuff on them. Normally you eat and after 30 minutes the saliva works some of the food particles off of your teeth. But since she's constantly eating her teeth are always covered and more prone to cavities. She does fine with brushing her teeth but you can't always brush your teeth while you're out. That's where this spray comes in. It can easily fit in your purse and the nozzle can be spun in any direction to easily hit all of the teeth, including the molars. So when she east and can't brush, I spray some of this on her teeth. She loves it and actually reminds me to do it. Only time will tell if it's truly reduced the cavities but she doesn't complain about her teeth hurting anymore. So for me that is a win and I'll continue to use it.
- segges2024-07-13light flavor, easy to use with the extra arm
I try everything that's not tried and true before the kids, so this is (mostly) from an adult perspective. It has a pleasant light strawberry flavor, almost too good in that the kids want it too often. It lasted 20+ minutes but was fading over that time. It's easy to use and sprays a fine mist, perfect size for a toddler or younger kid's mouth. The little arm makes reaching different areas of their mouth easier as it's not overly bulky and "not as scary" as a regular spray. I can't say it improved my breath but my mouth felt fresher so hopefully it helped my breath too. As for size, I tried a similar one of these with the kids and it was just 15ml, and this is only a few bucks more for 40ml. Even at this, I'd like to see this in a bigger size and/or a way to buy a refill to reuse the sprayer. Overall, I feel it's a great start for kid to learn and for on-the-go, but we're going to continue with mouthwash when needed and regular brushing, especially as it's hard to tell if the product is accurate with the claims.

This Abera Hanoko Anti-Caries Oral Spray has some odd and concerning ingredients in it. Because of that I cannot recommend it. When I first read through the ingredients list for this spray I was surprised to see that some of them appeared to be food. Fruit extract, grape seed extract, sweetened defatted egg yolk powder? When I use this am I just spraying food onto my teeth? At first glance I thought that this product seemed to be more like a vitamin spray than an oral spray meant to protect the teeth. The ingredients list seems to contain elements of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The second group of ingredients in this oral spray that was a surprise to me was the amount of sweeteners listed. Fructooligosaccharide/inulin is one of the sweeteners listed. It is an ingredient that I had to look up. Fructooligosaccharide/inulin appears to be a nondigestible form of sugar which can cause changes to the gut microbiome. Yikes! I'm a grandmother. I certainly wouldn't want my grandson or any other toddler to experience changes in their gut microbiome. Other sweeteners that are contained in this oral spray are sorbitol and stevia leaf extract. Equally concerning to me as changes to the gut microbiome are the minerals that are contained in this oral spray. Magnesium can cause stomach issues. I would not use this oral spray on a toddler for fear of causing them stomach problems like cramping and diarrhea, both of which can be caused by ingesting magnesium. If taken in excess the other minerals in this oral spray could also cause health problems. I think that it would be too hard to control the amount of copper, zinc, potassium, and magnesium that a toddler is consuming from the recommended use of four sprays of this after each tooth brushing. Multiply those four recommended sprays times toothbrushing twice a day and you get eight sprays a day of this stuff. At eight sprays a day I need to know exactly how much of each mineral is contained per spray. I need to be able to calculate the daily consumption of each mineral to see if it falls within recommended ranges. The amount of mineral per spray is not shown on the label on the box or on the paper insert inside the box. I worry that a toddler might get their hands on this product and ingest the entire bottle all at once. It is sweet and it does taste good. If that happened would the toddler be in danger of ingesting a toxic amount of minerals? I would like to see a more informative nutrition label that answers that question. Lastly, this oral spray has a hard plastic tube that is meant to be aimed at the teeth to direct the spray onto the teeth. The directions are to remove the cap from the end before spraying. I could not get the end piece that looked like a cap to separate from the end of the tube. The end piece seemed to be molded onto the spray tube. I had to use a serrated box opener to saw my way through the tube before I could use it. Unfortunately, due to my concerns about some of the ingredients that it contains, I would not recommend this Abera Hanoko Anti-Caries Oral Spray to anyone.
- TG2024-07-16Toddler loves it!
My toddler loves this spray! After we brush his teeth, we give him a quick spray down. He loves the flavor and it really helps with his breath through the night and into morning. I do wish the bottle was a little larger, as we have gone through this quite quickly. However, the product itself is great!

This seemed to work well as an alternative for toothpaste when my kids are so tired they will not brush their teeth. The nozzle lifts up and down, and sprays well in any position. It's easy to get all around my kids mouths with the handy nozzle and I can move it to where it needs to be. My kids didn't seem to mind the taste. It has a hint of strawberry or semi sweet taste to it. It is a small bottle so I'm not sure how long it will last. It was definitely smaller than I thought it would be. Over all, I suppose it's a good alternative to toothpaste. I'm not sure it works as well, just assuming it does.

I can’t attest to how well this works as I haven’t used this product for an extended period of time, but I can attest to how easily it applied on my children. My toddler is a pain in brushing his teeth, hence why I wanted to try this product. He was still a pain with the application of it this, but it sprays well and tastes great (as verified by my five year old). one cool thing is that it comes with an extended spray nozzle that allows you to really target exactly where you want it sprayed. The packaging does show it is made with egg yolk product, so if your child has an egg allergy, I would avoid this.

I don’t really get this product. Instructions are unclear so I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra step.
- Chris2024-06-30Works well, tastes great.
Like I do with everything else, I tried it out myself before using it for the kids. This tastes like strawberry candy to me. It is very easy to apply because of the extended nozzle. I can't say I've ever seen anything like it but this sprayer makes it possible to go in every part of the mouth effortlessly. The bottle is quite small though. I don't know yet how long it will last but it's smaller than I imagined after seeing the picture on the listing. Also, shelf life says two years on the bottle. One must keep the box this comes in for more details since the actual dates can only be found on the box. Speaking of.. it's important to read what's on the box since it mentions to shake well before using. I don't see that on the bottle so I didn't shake it at all the first time I used it.

Hate using toothpaste? Wish there was a scifi solution that still cleans your teeth? Then this spray may be for you! Instead of putting it on a brush, you squirt this solution straight into your mouth. The flavor is unusual, but not bad, and it cleans the teeth well. The cap does not like to stay on the bottle, which was a problem when I took it with me to work. If you or your child dislike the feeling of toothpaste, this may be a great solution for you. But I found it just a little bit too surreal.

This anti caries oral spray is easy to use and taste good. My older son like it but younger son didn’t like it. He think it’s toothpaste. This is like an alternative to toothpaste when you can’t brush. It’s not a good idea to use long time so it doesn’t clean the teeth as it. It just a spray to protect the teeth for short amount of time, but can’t replace daily toothbrush. The instructions isn’t that clear either. It’s good for travel with kids, but the price is a little bit pricey.
