    A Wonderful Baby Shower Gift

Silver is a long-acknowledged antimicrobial, and since it is anti-inflammatory it makes a perfect material for healing and protecting breastfeeding nipples that are sore and chapped. New mothers don't talk about this, but creams and lotions don't really help and no one wants their newborn drinking the junk they put in lotions. Mothers who try real silver shields rave about them, there is nothing to compare with their healing protection, and these particular shields are quite well made. It's best to put a drop of breastmilk inside each cup to help them adhere, then secure them in place with your bra. They are cool and light and immediately soothing. 999 silver is essentially 99.9% pure silver and so creates a healing environment while shielding from chafing, all without chemicals. The people who think they are flimsy don't understand - they're designed to be thin for comfort, and not for bulletproof crime fighting. They come in a gift box with cleaning instructions. This is a thoughtful gift to give to a new mother, and one she will mentally thank you for again and again.

    Good quality silver

The quality of the silver seems pretty good but like others have mentioned, they are a little flimsy so be careful handling them. They're easy to use and provide needed relief. No skin reactions and I am sensitive to metals.

    Very useful.

My partner has been breastfeeding our newborn and we got these to protect her sensitive areas. So far she has been very happy using these along with a feeding bra. They don't appear to be reactive. They are well sized for the purpose. The protection is real (she said they increased her comfort).

    Comfortable and affordable

These are so much more affordable than the silverettes. They are super thin, but I was happy to see that I was able to put on the silicone rings without bending up the cups. They fit well and are comfortable. Great find!

    Lightweight, comes with silicone seals

These are a nice, roomy design, and the silver is thin and lightweight. I've got a nickel sensitivity, and wearing these a few hours didn't flare that up at all. They definitely made my bra more comfortable, I'm pregnant and SUPER sensitive. I appreciate that they come with silicone seals and you can buy refills, it makes it much easier to use them because they can't slip around much as long as you're wearing a bra.

Really Nice For Nursing Semi Fragile

I’ve been wondering about these kind of cups for a while now. Most are pretty expensive so I was excited to try these ones. They say they’re silver still so I don’t know what makes them so much cheaper than other brands maybe they’re just silver coated or a thinner silver? They are definitely thin. I was drying one and nearly crushed it so I have to be a lot gentler with them. They do work as intended! They kept my nipples feeling good during those first few days of nursing. I know often people say using breast milk itself helps keep nipples good and this helps facilitate that. They’re not intended to stop leaking so I would still wear nursing pads along with them. I do wish they came with more clear instructions on usage (I know it’s not complicated) it’d be nice to know how often to wash them and things like that. I looked that up for silver cups in general and it said at least once a day so little info like that would be helpful.

Great option for those with sensitive or healing nipples...

These silver nursing cups are thin and smooth to the touch. They come as a set of 2 and have 2 silicone circles included that fit along the perimeter in order to keep them in place. If your bra is not tightly fitted, these will still move around but not by much. If you have smaller nipples you may have some sweating against the metal on your skin/areola. Otherwise, they are great protectors for those with sore or healing nipples. I can’t speak to the antibacterial properties and I also cannot confirm that these truly are silver but they seem so. They come with a small little scrubber to clean them and are packaged well in a cute box.

    Actual silver

These were gift to a new mother and were really enjoyed. As a novelty item it is a precious metal keepsake that you can always have for your little one. This was a well designed and crafted set. As far as functionality having used silver for myself I can tell this will be a great fit and provide relief and comfort. Great product would recommend for all new mothers
