Supportive Back Brace is a winner! An exceptional design and feel...

This is my third back brace, but actually is a winner!  Love the Velcro supportive adjustable flaps as it feels very good, during application.   It can be easily worn all day and not feel too constrained, as I know it is doing its job supporting my back and core as I work around the house.  Strongly recommended. In summary, this is truly an exceptional back brace. and by far the best I've ever owned.

Good belt, comfortable, good fit, doesn't last as long as name brand

My bottom line is that it's a fine product - fits great, affordable, I like it - but it's as durable as name brand options such as Mueller. Full review: I tested a belt from this brand (PAZAPO), and another generic brand (TEKOMVO). To my surprise, they were identical in every regard, even down to the instructions booklet provided. I find both belts to be satisfactory. They are easy to adjust and offer the support I need. I wear these belts frequently, not just for lifting, but for just about any physical activity, even exercising or mowing the lawn. Wearing a back brace is particularly helpful for those dealing with sciatica, back problems, or if you're just carrying around some extra weight. I've rated these belts 4 stars because I question the durability. The velcro used on this is similar to my previous generic back brace, which started degrading after only a year. In comparison, my name brand belt lasted a decade before showing signs of velcro wear. Another observation I've made about generic brands is that the support bands in the back tend to wear out and become misshapen after about a year of use. There are four ribs in the back of the brace, which provide support and stability, but they tend to bend and twist over time. The base layer is made of neoprene, which do not allow airflow, so they can get hot and cause sweating when worn for extended periods. They are pretty rigid and lack stretch. This can be advantageous or disadvantageous depending on your preferred fit. I appreciate the wide band, which covers the belly and stays securely in place. Regarding sizing, while I typically wear an XL, the size chart recommended a 3X/4X, which initially seemed unusually large. However, the 3X/4X fits well and offers significant flexibility, with about 8-10 inches of leeway in either direction. I suspect each size covers a broad range, so I could have likely gone with a smaller size and still had a good fit. For reference, I am a 6-foot male with a 36-inch waist and a 50-inch chest (size 48 - 50 sport coat).

Discomfort Relief Brace for Lower Back Lumbar Support w/Suspenders

Anyone who has had lower back problems, even off and on will tell you it can seem to hurt continually and it is hard to get relief from that nagging discomfort. In my case, you try one thing after the other trying to get some relief at all and I can say that this particular Support Brace with its removable suspenders really works for me. I especially like how easy it is to put on, and to adjust the elastic bands, with options to add or remove the suspenders and/or the 5 flexible support bars, but most of all, it gives me much needed relief. I’m a larger person and this belt comes in a variety of sizes as it stretches. Since this device does this, it can go on over your clothes and automatically adjusts to fit where I need it to so I can find my comfort zone easily. In addition I also have the option on either side of the waist to tweak it, as needed and as a bonus, the “breathable” material doesn’t make me feel hot no matter how long I have it on. Sometimes my fella over-does it and it helps for him to wear it while working to prevent this. I plan to get him one of his own so I don’t have to share mine anymore.

    Excellent support

I just started a job that involves lots of lifting and didn’t want to wait until after I was in pain to start wearing this, because I knew it’s coming. This is non restrictive and comfortable and has helped me get through my work day with minimal to no aches. Took some practice to get the thing on, but once you figure it out it’s easy.

    Good support

This consists of a non-stretchy base belt with two wide elastic belts on either side. For your first fitting, you'll want to unstick the two elastic outer belts before fitting the base belt. Let them hang down at your sides for now. Those elastic belts are for achieving just the right support for your body. After securing the base belt around your waist, grab one elastic belt end in each hand and then pull to the front. When the tightness, angle, and support feel good, then slap them into place on the velcro. This back brace feels sturdy with durable materials and very strong velcro. The reason for the missing star in the rating is because the base belt is unforgiving, so if you order the wrong size, it will be too small or too big. I have another back belt where the base is stretchy like the outer elastic belts, allowing it to fit a greater variety of body types. Also the suspenders are pointless. In my experience, belts never slide down, they scoot up. I'm always having to pull them down over my waist. I only see them being useful if you want to undo the belt but not leave it somewhere, so you can have it dangling around you by the suspenders. Thankfully these are removable if they get in your way. As far as performance, this brace gets the job done, offering a good amount of support to your lower back, comparable to other back braces I've tried. I also really appreciate the availability of this belt in larger sizes for the plus-sized.

    Know your measurements

Very important you know your measurements as this this back brace is not sized the same as your normal clothing and had to order up a few sizes compared to clothing size. This back brace is nice though and I really appreciate the suspenders to keep the brace in place. The difference in back symptoms prior to wearing compared to while wearing is very noticeable. I would highly recommend this product especially to wear doing moving or heavy lifting. Just remember - MEASURE YOURSELF BEFORE PURCHASING! Would highly recommend.

    Gives back support

This DOES give back support. This DOES help relieve pain (not if severe, but just to support the back) TIP: Loosen up the suspenders so you can lower the belt part to fit on your lower back. It will come packaged where the suspenders are in a certain place, but the more you lower the belt to sit on the small of your back, tail bone, the more support you will get. I got this for yard work for lifting bags of mulch, and now I see hubby volunteering to wear it on his own without me "nagging" (suggesting) to put it on. Hubby wears it even using the self-propelled lawn mower. He doesn't care what he looks like, or if a neighbor says "what is he wearing". Who knows, maybe he will start a trend. Finally - my husband will wear something to help "prevent" further pain.
