I recently purchased the HexClad Sauté Pan, and it has quickly become a cornerstone in my kitchen. The hybrid technology, combining stainless steel with non-stick properties, offers the best of both worlds. It allows for high-heat searing while ensuring easy cleanup, a feature that any cooking enthusiast can appreciate. One of the standout features is its durability. This pan is built to last, with a tri-ply construction that ensures even heat distribution, preventing hot spots and ensuring your food cooks evenly every time. The scratch-resistant surface means I can use metal utensils without worry, and the pan still looks as good as new. The HexClad Sauté Pan is incredibly versatile. Whether I'm cooking a delicate fish, searing a steak, or sautéing vegetables, the results are consistently excellent. The pan's ability to go from stovetop to oven (up to 500°F) has expanded my cooking options and allowed me to explore recipes I previously couldn't. Cleanup is a breeze thanks to its non-stick surface. A quick wipe or a gentle wash is all it takes to get the pan ready for its next use. This ease of maintenance ensures the pan is always ready for whatever recipe I want to tackle next. The ergonomic handle design is another plus, providing comfort and ease during use, even when the pan is full. The aesthetic appeal of the pan, with its unique hexagon design, adds a touch of elegance to the kitchen. In conclusion, the HexClad Sauté Pan is a high-quality, versatile kitchen tool that has exceeded my expectations. Its combination of durability, performance, and easy maintenance makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone who loves to cook. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a home cooking enthusiast, this sauté pan is a must-have addition to your cookware collection.

Love this. It’s durable, versatile, and will undoubtedly save me a lot of time, money and space in the long run. I have three teens and need to be able to cook large meals. My younger two are just starting to venture into cooking when I’m at work. I spent a lot of money on the Always Pan a few years ago, it lost its non stick coating in less than a month of use. I have purchased a few cheaper non sticks in the meantime while my teens were practicing their egg cooking skills among other things. They all were ruined in the process. So I bit the bullet and invested in my first two Hexclad items. I bought this and a large skillet. I love that this can be used in a multitude of ways including in place of a Dutch oven. I’ve used it at least a dozen times since my purchase and it hasn’t lost its luster one bit. It heats evenly, it’s comfortable to maneuver even though it’s quite large, the lid fits perfectly, is easy to store, the material is durable and is easy to clean. I can trust it can withstand my twins cooking ventures, as it has thus far, when other utensils have failed.
- The One2024-05-21Fantastic!
Had this for only a couple weeks and already love it. It's HUGE. I've used it to fry bacon, a double batch of my world famous baked beans, and a huge batch of cheesy au gratin potatoes. This pan heats quickly and much more evenly on my electric stove than my old pans (20 year old Wolfgang Puck pans that I loved until they started leaking around the handles). Super easy to clean. They do tell you to season it before the first use, which I did not do, but it's still been super easy to clean. The cheesy potatoes were the "hardest" but still not difficult at all.

Excellent quality construction and design. Cleans like magic. Cooks like a dream. Nothing sticks to it...Nothing. Love it. Best pan I have ever owned.

I have a lot of cookware, cast iron, Le Creuset, Staub, Calphalon Stainless, Carbon Steel, cast iron, etc. I have looked at the HexClad cookware in the past, and decided not to try it because it looked like the cooking surface was bumpy which didn't excite me. When I saw this 7-quart pan with short handles, I had to try it. This was my first piece of HexClad cookware. I bought it in hopes it would replace a 7 quart Staub Dutch oven that I use often for some recipes I cook in the oven. The Staub Dutch oven is very heavy, especially after adding food to it. I am not weak, but getting 7-quart Dutch oven full of food into the oven has become increasingly difficult. In addition, the Staub pot is deep, and the food was not always evenly cooked. Tonight, I cooked the recipe in this pan that I usually cook in the Staub Dutch oven, and was so pleasantly surprised that my recipe had more than enough room after I put it together. This pan was so much easier to get into the oven, and everything cooked evenly because of the lesser depth. After cooking was done, cleanup was a breeze. Just a little soapy water and done. So much easier than the previous pot I used. I was so impressed with this pan, I have already ordered one of the larger sets of HexClad cookware. Now I have to eliminate, or store, other cookware to make space for the new set. This cookware has a lifetime warranty, but you need to keep a copy of your purchase invoice for any warranty claims. UPDATE 10/25/23: Tonight I made the same recipe described above which normally makes enough for 3 meals for us. I increased the ingredients to be enough for 4 meals and it all still fit in this pan with room to spare. I am really loving this pan. I hope this review was helpful for you.
- Michael2024-06-125-star reviews get top billing. But read the 1-star reviews, too…
This is a different sort of review. I’m not qualified to rate this sauté pan because I haven’t actually used it. But I hope you’ll read on. I spent a lot of time trying to find a replacement for an 8-10 year old favorite 5.5 quart clad Tramontina sauté pan that seemed perfect in every way, but is sadly no longer made the same way. The closest (though less expensive) Tramontina pan I tried first had a handle hole that was, thoughtlessly, too small to hang on a pot rack hook without an incurring a major challenge to remove it. So back it went. Next up I ordered this Hexclad, for a lot more money than I like to spend on a non-stick with a finite life, but I was intrigued by its features, its perfect-for-me dimensions and capacity, and its 5-star reviews, though I usually read products’ 1-2 star reviews first. But by the time it arrived, I *had* read the Hexclad’s 1-star reviews and I urge you to do so as well! I always read these with an eye toward how they relate to my usage, and whether they sound legitimate or unreasonably whiny . In this case, they are very consistent in two primary areas: (1) problems with the pan’s bottom bowing, causing liquids to pool on the sides, and (2) the consistency with which people reported being blown off by Hexclad’s apparently very poor customer service attitude, one reviewer even including a lawyer’s loooong list of what is *not* covered by their “lifetime warranty”. There were far too many reviews saying the same things for them to not be considered. And when I put a small amount of water in the pan to check the flatness of the bottom, sure enough it was slightly bowed in the center! Never mind even the cost of the pan, I chose to protect myself from the frustration of dealing with “customer service” that doesn’t understand what that means. So I am, sadly, returning this beautiful pan without getting to experience it further. In its place, I finally chose a hard-anodized Calphalon Elite (a top-line made for Williams Sonoma and not available on Amazon). At 13” across with a 6 qt capacity, it’s a bit larger than I would have liked, but it *is* perfectly flat, has a 3-layer non-stick surface said to be significantly longer-lasting than that used in their other lines, and textured in a way that is said to produce a good sear; plus, it happens to have beautiful, comfortably balanced stainless steel handles. I hope (a) that this is helpful to some, and (b) that Hexclad gets the message that part of consumers’ willingness to spend more for quality is for the expected support of a proud manufacturer who stands behind it, and that the cost of poor customer service is greater than the cost of goods replaced without hassle. So consider this actually to be a 1-3 star review.
- Christie M.2024-04-18Versatile, beautiful & practical!!
This pan is so darned expensive!! But because I cook in larger quantities and need higher sides since I am sometimes sloppy on the cooktop, it is wonderful for me. I also chose this for the two handles. My hands are losing strength and to have the stove top with only a singular handle was not what I wanted. And it is great for use in the oven for braising. Nothing ever sticks! The surface is so easy to wash. It’s a no-brainer except for the cost. Really? Does it have to be so expensive. While I might complain about the cost, I love it and use it for a crowd or large quantity cooking.

- Patrick Michael2024-07-09Happy wife...
...happy life. She did the research, picked it out and I ordered it. She swears by them. Replaced big name brand that had non-stick surface flaking . Feared they might be too heavy, but this isn't the case. Very pleased with this brand.
