I have taken my knives to be sharpened professionally, had a friend professionally sharpen them and my Mom had a really good knife sharpener when I was growing up, but I’ve never found one that I’ve liked or trusted. They’ve always been hard to hold our dangerous. Not this one. It sits firmly on the counter and with just a couple strikes at each angle you can sharpen, get rid of small nicks and polish the blade to a really fine, professional finish!! I love it and I use it every time my knives need sharpening. I’m really happy I finally found a great sharpener!!!

I ordered this to sharpener for my Gingher scissors. My scissors couldn't cut fabric for the entire length of the blades - it would stop as you got closer to end. There was a nick in there that prevented the full cut. SOOO Frustrating!! I am not near a big city so to get my scissors professionally sharped was not possible. I did some research and decide to give this knife and scissor sharpeners a try. Wow! That is all I can say. I am so happy with the results. My scissors or now making a full cut through fabric, over and over and over again. I can wait to sharpen some of my knives! If the scissors are this good - I can't imagine how sharp my knives will be. Well done! I highly recommend!

I have purchased several different knife sharpeners over the years all of which had good points and bad points, but this one is the best! I have good knives that have gotten dull over the years and thought I would give a try....I'm glad I did! I sharpened all of my knives and was truly impressed when I went to use them! My paring knife was back to being a sharp knife for what I use it for. My carving knife went through a roast like it was butter. The knife I use to cut my veggies was back to being a chopping machine! Easy to use, produces very sharp knives, better than any other knife sharpener. I have spent more money on other knife sharpeners, but this one is by far better. I will have to order another one because my friend borrowed it and raved about it also, so I told him he could keep it and I would order another one for myself.

I really don’t have much to say other than it does what it’s supposed to. Sharpens knives very well. I’m not saying professional grade but at home cooking and use for meats & veggies. I had a set that’s about 6 years old & I spent a good amount on them so I really didn’t want purchase a new set. This saved me so much money & time now that I’m not sawing through my food!! It also has 3 levels of sharpening, it got the bumps & curves out of my edges, and cuts my tomatoes like “buttah” (excuse my bostonian accent). Great purchase

Great sharpener! I have a collection of kitchen knives, most of which languished in a drawer over the years. I set to work on them when this sharpener arrived and once I got the hang of it, all my knives are sharp and in use again. For me, it's the edge and the weight of the blade, so I now know which knives works best on vegetables and meats, and it's so easy to sharpen up a knife for fine dicing or paper thin slicing. Love it.

I ordered this after my grandkid’s lost my other knife sharpener, kinda wanted to repurchase the same as before but the gorilla brand got me. This knife sharpener is great!!! It’s very easy to use and I like the fact that it has 3 functions repairing, sharpening and smoothing. Best value by far for a great product above and beyond my expectations. Will be purchasing more from the gorilla brand products.

This is Perfect. The 4 little groove things are built really well. The only thing is that they are sharpened at a quick angle, like the sharpeners are sharpened at a 45 degree angle instead of a longer one that would let me sharpen my knives with a longer cutting part like a longer cutting edge the little silver parts.

I planned on buying new knives but decided to try this instead. I’m so glad that I did. 4 stars for the scissor section.

Received all items included with description. Used it right away to sharpen a few knives and it works great. Have not been able to get our knives this sharp since we first got them. Beats using the standard sharpener that a knife set comes with. Now my wife can sharpen them without me having to do it all the time.
