The wooden base is lighter is color than I expected, though where it is wood I plan to stain it a darker shade to match my kitchen wood cabinets. I saw this on an influences’ side table and fell in love. It is sturdy and very well made. It also comes with 2 heating bulbs so that was nice. The adjustable height makes it easy to use with most candles and the light is great for a bedroom.

I bought this for my mom for mothers day and she LOVED it! I loved the fact that it will melt your candle and release the smell all without flame. And the best part is that it has two timer modes so that you don't have to remember to turn it off. It also makes a pretty piece of decor. The only downside is that the lamp shade does get pretty hot which makes sense but something good to know if you have kids around.
