Let me start by saying I'm a huge Creality Ender 3 fan! I had version 1 and 2, and last year bought a pair of SEs, which are absolutely incredible printers for only $200. They were easy to assemble, self calibrating, and worked right out of the box. So I decided to get the Ender-3 V3, but my first few hours have had a few quirks. 1) What is with the confusing name? Couldn't it be like "V4"? Or "V3 ZE"? Or something to avoid all the confusion with every other Ender3? Would seem like a dumb complaint, except that when you try to get info on it on YouTube, you get every Ender3 in the world except this one. 2) The "getting started" manual seems to have missed a beat in translation. I'm an engineer who is good at assembling all kinds of things, but this one just had gaps in the manual. Forgot to mention the screws on the bottom? And odd quirks in order. To attach the teflon tube you need to heat the filament, but when you start up the UI, it takes you to calibration. It was just not thought out. And what's with the weird detangling thing under the spool? But after finally getting it assembled and printing, wow, is it fast. And I like the die-cast metal. And the touch-screen is top-notch. And it's very compact for the build size. And it's still very reasonably priced given the big bump in speed from previous generations. So I'm going to reserve judgement, and maybe check back on this review after a few weeks of printing. _______ Update; I bumped my rating up to 5 stars, because after a few setup quirks, that printer is indeed absolutely blazing fast!! No joke, I was printing robot chassis on my Ender3 SEs that took about 3 1/2 hours. This new one does it in 38 minutes! Out of the box; no tweaks! It's an astounding speed bump! I highly recommend either the $200 SEs, which are very inexpensive and reliable, or else this $400 V3, which is, as I said, crazy fast! I uploaded a video of the thing printing, and for anyone with older Ender3s, no, the video was not sped up! It's _that_ fast.

My first printer and I love it
- Stephanie2024-06-15This printing is great
This is my second printer and OMG this thing is great. Its 5 times faster than the other enders. Self levels, Auto nozzle cleaner, and filament runout sensor. A small child can assemble it in less than an hour Adult 20 minutes. On my ender 3 neo 3- 1/2-hour print was 34 minutes on this machine. It is very fast wish I would have started with this printer. Worth every penny

This is my first 3d printer. I used one in college a few times years ago and who knew how consumer friendly they've become in the past few years! This was easier to sync to my computer than my regular paper printer!
- Robert2024-05-22Great printer, but my started having issues
Print great for the first few prints, afterward starts to had issues with filament not sticking to bed and stringing
- Scott R.2024-04-11I wanted to love it
My first v3 lasted 3 weeks and the extruder let go. Terrible terrible extruder design. Otherwise the machine was nice . Very fast for a slinger . Print quality was nice even at speed . Returned and bought a second and the motherboard was DOA . I will not buy another creality . Bambu is the way to go.
