    Great resin!

Durable prints. bottle came well packaged with no leaking. Its hard to beat this price the minis cleaned easily and had a nice smooth color. The smell was mild compared to other resins i've used.

    This resin is always great

This is a solid resin for the price. Every print I’ve made with it comes out awesome and never fails.

    Pretty

Elegoo resin works great in my printer. The translucent red is beautiful.

    Price to performance is fantastic

I've put my models side by side with other abs-like resins that cost twice as much and I find it hard to spot the difference. Much more flexibility on thinner pieces. Less breaking when pulling off supports

Pretty good but not the best for detail or durability

I used the Anycubic Photon Momo X2 to print this with stock settings and Tango Slicer. The detail is a 7/10, and durability is 5/10. I used small, minimal supports on this Batpod, but five separate pieces still broke off with minimal pressure. I spent an hour using UV resin glue and a small UV light to rework it. I would use this stuff for less detailed prints and anything that doesn't have fragile parts.

    Weak or double the time

I’m not sure why, but most prints I attempted with this resin fell apart or randomly failed in parts; I turned up the exposure time to attempt to fix the poor curing and it partially worked, but doubled time; I recommend standard resin Instead. That being said, I still think this is a GREAT brand, and well worth it if you don’t mind the wait for ABS

    Elegoo make quality affordable

Elegoo makes quality products and they make them affordable, my printer is an elegoo mars 3 pro that was open box but works perfectly with this resin when following elegoos reccomend settings Of course the product does smell but the print quality is perfect for my setup, the durability of the first two bottles was great but the third was not right, unsure if i should return or try to get an exchange but over all i am happy with the products

    Pure magic!

Quick update: One negative that I'm finding is that it's super brittle. A lot of resins will kind of shear off if you cut them with a hobby knife, but this stuff straight up shatters, sometimes taking a good amount of the surrounding area with it. If you drop it, it will break. It seems like they're getting away from the "ABS" part of the name with this one. ABS and styrene have some give to them and they tend to bend (and turn white) rather than break. Still love the success rate and print quality though. *** I've tried a lot of different resin brands and "types", and this is by far the best. It's way less temperature dependent than any I've used, for one. But the best thing is that I haven't had a failed print yet when printing multiple models at the same time on my Anycubic Photon Mono 2. Anyone who has one knows that it can often fail multi-model prints unless it's absolutely perfectly level, which is a pain in itself. This resin seems to give a wider margin of error in all respects. Definitely get this if you have a budget printer, it'll help cut down your frustration a lot. Now, with most resins, a good alcohol bath softens the supports enough to make them easy to remove, which is handy. This stuff doesn't, but it does respond well to hot water. It's an extra step, but it's much tougher resin so it's no big deal. Overall it's an A+!

Hit or miss, but mostly miss

So, I was using another brand of resin before I tried this Elegoo abs-like 3.0. The resin I was using before worked incredibly well, but it was a little too viscous for some jobs, so I thought I would try something that claimed to have lowered the viscosity in their abs-like resin. Which is why I chose this particular resin to test to see if it could fill the gaps that my old resin had. In terms of print detail, with proper settings, the resin looks fine. It's crisp, bonds to the build plate well without a ton of initial layer exposure time, so minimal elephants foot. Dimensional accuracy is good. Low shrinkage. So far so good. With thicker parts, 5mm+, it feels fairly strong with a slight bend, which is good. But for thinner parts, it's incredibly brittle. And I don't use the term 'incredibly' lightly. Thinner parts crumbled in my hands with minimal force. It was shockingly brittle. I've attached photos so you can see the aftermath. The ring shaped parts cracked and broke apart when removing them from the build plate. Something that no other resin I've ever used has done before. The small cylinder shaped part crumbled in my hand while I was holding it to mount it to another part. I've never experienced resin as brittle as this before, and I've used tones of resins. I was genuinely surprised by it. If you're looking for strength, and your parts are thicker, this would probably be fine. It's cheaper than the alternatives. But for an all-around abs-like resin, it just can't compete with the other options out there. Like not even close. It's cheap for a reason! A final note, it's sandability isn't as good as other abs-like resins I've tried. It's a shame, Elegoo makes incredible 3d printers. But this particular resin just isn't very good. In fact, I dare say, it's the worst resin I've ever printed with. Update: Elegoo reached out to me and offered to refund my order and send a sample bottle of the abs-like 2.0 version of resin they offer. They also provided recommended settings for their 3.0 resin, which I tried with what I had left and the results were the same. The 2.0 may be better, but the brittleness of 3.0 is a fairly severe issue. Great company though and I appreciate them following up with me. They do make excellent 3d printers so hopefully this 2.0 sample of resin will work better.

    Super consistent prints!

If you use their recommend settings for your printer it works great.
