Absolutely no problems with this brand whatsoever. I found that the best temperature for printing was about 100° Celcius.

This is our first time buying your filament. We purchase quite a bit of filament as we are a 3D Print vendor. Your filament color and feel are great. Hiwever, the spooling was an issue when printing. It was tangled and overlapping which caused some problems with the spool binding up during printing. It became very labor intensive to sit and watch the whole print job. As nice as the filament is, I'm not sure we would purchase it again.

This filament is beautiful and prints so well on my Monoprice Maker Select! It comes in an Amolen-printed cardboard box vacuum-sealed with a packet of dessicant. I also received a sample of the frosted bronze PLA they offer, which was a fantastic bonus. The filament is noticeably 'silk' finish on the roll and feels solid to the touch. In use, it has a very smooth, almost buttery texture that seems to promote great layer adhesion and relatively unnoticeable striations. Both of the photos I have included were printed at draft quality, which is simply unheard of in my experience! My only warning is that it can be a little transparent, so you may want to bump up your wall values to prevent seeing the your infill from the outside. This can be seen also on the brim lay-down (you can read the IIIP through it!). I run this filament a little on the high side, favoring 210 on the extruder and 60-70 on the bed. It sticks extremely well regardless of temperature and I have yet to have a print curl or pop-off during a run. It does want for a scraper sometimes, but once it begins to pop-off, the rest of the model will quickly follow in suit. The brim peels away with shocking ease, often requiring no additional tools to remove. Until I used this filament, I never understood how someone could see a printed piece as usable right from the bed. Now, I can print fast, smooth-finished pieces that make for absolutely gorgeous showcase photos for my Thingiverse models! If there was a black and a gold version of the silk PLA, there'd be no turning back for me! More colors, please!

If you like super pretty shiny filament, then this filament is for you. The roll is tiny for the price, but the print quality is great and I love the shiny--ness of it. I try and print most of my prints with silk filaments and Amolen ones work great.

I had no trouble printing with any of the Amolen filament I have purchased. The white Silk filament printed on my Monoprice Select Mini flawlessly. I printed at 200C, and the heated bed off. The finished print has a pearlescent shine that looks great.

I have used Amolen filaments for some time, and they always print very well on my CR-10s. It is my first choice in filament as I know it is reliable and my settings are always repeatable. I will buy more for sure.

Neptune 4 Pro, 220d extruder, 60d bed, 150mm/s, 43g of filament. I used this filament with a patterned build plate for a second print of a playing card box, and it turned out quite nice. Both halves were printed at once but the total filament used is pretty small so there's not much of a gradient. The concentric fill for the first layer was very clean, with just a few errors that were probably my settings. Even though it's a matte PLA, the patterned build plate gave it a super smooth finish that contrasts nicely with the edges. I'm not sure how often the color changes, but from the start of the roll the 43g print was just about enough filament to get to the next color. I don't personally mind getting a new color for every small print, but if you want the rainbow gradient I think it will require a larger print.

I was very excited to buy this filament for my boyfriend. Unfortunately he wasn’t much fan of it. He mentioned that it’s very brittle and doesn’t glow much. It’s okay, but would really prefer to buy regular filament than glow in the dark.

The only reason it's four stars is because despite doing several rounds of retraction, speed , and temp settings I still can't get rid of the stringing problem. If you don't mind putting in a little work to clean up the models then this is a great filament.
