Nice colors, great adhesion, very good release once cool

This filament arrived well packaged, vacuum-sealed, including a desiccant pack, like all filaments I have used. I printed a couple of functional prints on my Ender 3 S1 on a PEI build plate using my usual PLA setting (i.e. no changes specific for this filament). I printed at a temperature of 210C. I had great adhesion with both prints and once the build plate was cool, they released very well (see video). This filament performed as well as the best filaments I've used. Definitely a 5 star product.

    Nice and pretty strong filament

I've been enjoying the vibrant colors and have been printing dragons with this filament spool. Initially, I encountered issues due to poor adhesion, but after applying some glue and implementing other workarounds, I was finally able to succeed.

Works well until it does not. A lot of broken prints.

The colors are nice. The prints always started out good, well anchored to the glass bed (with PVA glue). But, at about the height of around 1/2", the print would fail. It seems to be failing and then knocking the base loose. I also printed the same model with another brand of Silk PLA with no issues. I tried this 3 times, printing the 'cat' model from the Creality library. Each time it fails at a different point. I've printed this object 50 times or more, when testing filaments. I've never had a failure like this. I tried different bed temperatures and different extrusion temperatures. I did not find one that worked. Later, johnbo

    Very good rainbow PLA

I have tried some rainbow PLAs, and this one has been my favorite. Firstly, I didn't have any problems during the actual printing. The adhesion was good, even without a brim, It didn't clog, and it didn't have moisture. I have mainly liked the color transition and how seamless it looks on every print, especially on big ones. Overall, I would recommend it if you want a solid silk rainbow PLA.

    Awesome!

Great quality, highly vibrant colors and works great with our 3d printer. A great value for your money because it comes with a lot of filament to last for a while!

    Good filament

Good filament. Have printed about half a roll so far, without issues. The filament doesn't seem quite as strong as I am used to, but I am used to PLA+/PLA Pro and from what I can tell, silk is supposed to be not as strong

Nice silk PLA that prints wonderfully

I've used quite a bit of FlashForge filament over the years; in fact, my very first printer was a FlashForge printer ten years ago. My point is that it's a very established manufacturer that produces very good-quality products, and this silk PLA is no different. I like the smooth color gradient it produces, and I found virtually no color streaking that I often see in silk filaments. It has a very shiny metallic finish as well. I printed a revolver pen holder with it, and I think it came out quite nicely. My wife loved it! Overall, this is excellent-quality filament, and while FlashForge is definitely not the cheapest filament you can buy, the quality of the prints you get certainly reinforces that old saying about getting what you pay for.

Just ran through this whole spool!

My printer is going almost 24/7 printing terrain for DnD or other ttrpg’s. While the color looks pretty cool, it doesn’t really matter to me since everything I print ends up getting painted. The quality of this filament is on par with any other generic PLA that I’ve used. Good filament that just works well!

    Neat looking combination of colors!

I made no modifications for printing this PLA. I kept my standard settings and had predictable results, though notes with the filament recommend increasing temperature to get bonding between color transitions for thinner prints, which I did not do. This filament did not come with a bag for storage after use, that is not a show stopper, but some PLA"s do include that.

Another great color from a great company

Personally this is one of my favorite brands of printers and also filament makers. I put this up here with elegoo as far as quality goes. I had no problem with this making prints and it is a unique colorway that is try dreamy is what it's called. I didn't have any issue as long as you follow the proper instructions on it with the heating settings. I would recommend this and it made some pretty cool looking prints
