At first I was skeptical since I read other reviews saying it did not work. Thankfully I read the instructions and made sure to change the Bambu setting to smooth PEI plate. Put a little bit of glue on the plate with a glue stick to ensure adhesion and worked perfectly. I had no issues with Adhesion and all parts where easy to remove. I will be buying more plates soon.

I really like how it gives the unique finish to the bottom of the print. I've done 8 prints with it so far. Not sure how long it will last in the long term but everything sticks well. I let the plate cool down to room temp before removing any parts. In your slicer, you need to select smooth PEI/high temp plate. They also recommend bumping up the plate temp for different filaments. There is a chart on this page. I tried 60° for the first 4 prints. Worked fine. Then I used just the default temps and that also worked fine for PLA. I haven't tried any other filament but PLA on it but you can print what is listed. Do not get fingerprints on the build plate. I used rubber gloves when handling mine. You can wipe the plate with ISO/rubbing alcohol if you get oils or fingerprints on it. The colors won't transfer well if there are fingerprints or oils. Just wear rubber gloves to avoid all that. 8 prints and I haven't needed to wipe it yet. I have about 4000 hours on my x1c so we will see how long this will last. I'd love to try some other plates they have for sale but I can't afford them all right now.

Very cool great projects coming out great
- James W2024-04-10Leave a unique pattern on the bottom of the part
Leaves a cool sparkle and pattern on the bottom of the 3D print. Fairly good stick on larger items but will smaller items less that two inches, a quick spray with hair spray is needed or the part breaks loose and you have print failure. Over all I would give this 3D bed plate a solid 9+ points.

Very good adhesion
- Hawkeye6662024-04-07Requires constant cleaning.
Adhesion is "twitchy" at best. I find I have to clean either side almost every time I print. Extremely sensitive to dirt and adhesion can be challenging. But the finish is superb when it is clean for a print. On my X1-C I use 65 C for all layers and this seems to work as long as the surface is clean. If it is not you will get a failure first layer. It is a bit of a PIA but you need to monitor the first layer start to finish just in case it fails to stick. If it doesn, clean with Isopropyl alcohol (NOT rubbing alcohol), or glass clean and dry it thoroughly. Then let it sit just a bit to make sure it is dry before printing on it.

Ive gotten super good adhesion plus easy to remove.
- Daniel2024-07-11Beautiful patterns for your prints
These leave awesome patterns into the underside of your prints. For best adhesion, I recommend printing the first layer 5° hotter than normal and as slow as you can.
- Yatox82024-06-29Actually works
I use dawn dish soap to keep it clean. Mainly used carbon fiber pattern side and never had a print slip off when going. Just make sure to use OUTER BRIM like 8mm ..takes like 2min and really secures print down for extra piece of mind.
